HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 13,087RESOLUTION NO. 13,087 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY ADOPTING RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT PLATS BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City, California as follows: There is hereby adopted by the City Council of the City of National City for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing lot line adjustment plats and establishing a policy directive therefore, that certain administrative directive known as "Rules and Regulations Governing Adjustment Plats" a copy of which is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of National City and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein and from the date of this resolution shall take effect, the provisions thereof to be controlling within the limits of the City of National City. A person desiring to file an adjustment plat shall file such plat with the City Engineer in accordance with the following specifications: a. The plat shall be drawn on a form provided by the City Engineer. b. The plat shall be drawn legibly to an engineer's scale (e.g. one inch equals 100 feet). It shall be done with drawing ink or pencil; ballpoint pen is not acceptable. c. All parcels proposed to be adjusted shall be shown, including all contiguous property within the same ownership which is not a separate legal lot. d. An adjustment plat showing parcels all in the same ownership must be accompanied with a request for a Certificate of Compliance. Only one plat need be submitted. e. Each plat shall show not more than a total of four parcels. Additional applications and appropriate fees must be submitted if more than four parcels are involved. 2. Each adjustment plat shall contain the following information: a. Northpoint and scale of plat. b. Name, address and telephone number of applicant, i.e., the person seeking approval of the adjustment plat. c. Name, address, telephone number and signature of owner or owners. d. Name, address, telephone number of person who prepared the plat and, if prepared by an engineer or surveyor, his license or registration number. e. The location, width and names, if any, of all existing streets and the location, width and purpose of all easements which lie within the exterior boundaries of the land proposed for division. f. The names of the owners be labeled within or adjacent to the parcels involved. g. The existing boundary proposed to be relocated shall be shown as a dashed line and labeled "Existing Boundary." h. The proposed boundary sha11 be shown as a solid line and labeled "Proposed Boundary." i. Sufficient legal description of the land to define the boundaries of the ownerships involved and the Tax Assessor's parcel or parcels. j. A small scale vicinity map. k. The net area of each proposed lot. 1. The dimensions of each boundary of each proposed lot. m. The location of all existing buildings and structures and their uses, the minimum distance between such buildings -and structures, and the minimum distance between each building or structure and the boundary of the proposed lot within which it is situated. n. A statement of the existing zoning and the proposed use of each lot. 3. Each adjustment plat involving more than one owner shall be accompanied by grant deeds executed and acknowledged by owners for the transfer of property affected by the boundary adjustment. 4. Fees: $25.00 Boundary Adjustment only 50.00 Boundary Adjustment accompanied with a request for a Certificate of Compliance 5. Adjustment plats shall require the approval of the City Engineer and Planning Director. -2-
