DEDICATION OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC
STREET PURPOSES
(Grove Street)
WHEREAS, the City of National City is the
owner of all that certain property situated in the City
of National City, County of San Diego, State of California,
more particularly hereinafter described, and
WHEREAS, the City of National City desires that
said property be dedicated for public street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of National City, that the following
described property be and is hereby dedicated for public
street purposes:
That portion of 80 Acre Lot 2 of Quarter Section
129, Rancho De La Nacion, per map thereof Number
166, filed in the Office of the County Recorder
of San Diego, California, described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwesterly corner of Hills
of Paradise Subdivision, per Map thereof Number
1860 filed in the Office of the County Recorder
of said San Diego County on September 23, 1925,
said corner being also the centerline intersection
of Paradise Drive and Twelfth Street; Thence North
71°57'27" East, along the centerline of Twelfth
Street and the Northerly line of said 80 Acre
Lot 2, a distance of 228.11 feet; Thence South
18°02'33" East, 30 feet to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING; Thence South 18°02'33" East, 40 feet
to the beginning of a tangent 230 foot radius
curve, concave Easterly; Thence Southerly along
the arc of said curve, through a central angle
of 19°20'50", a distance of 77.66 feet; Thence
tangent to said curve, South 37°23'23" East,
64.15 feet; Thence South 10°06'37" West,
27.13 feet; Thence South 71°58'19" West, 31.80
feet; Thence South 6°29'20" East, 52.94 feet;
Thence North 45°31'37" East, 171.86 feet; Thence
North 53°17'42" East, 44.44 feet; Thence South
55°08'04" West, 57.86 feet; Thence North 82°
23'29" West, 28.28 feet; Thence North 37°23'23"
West, 74.16 feet to the beginning of a tangent
170 foot radius curve, concave Easterly; Thence
Northerly along the arc of said curve through
a central angle of 19°20'50", a distance of
57.40 feet; Thence tangent to said curve, North
18°02'33" West, 40 feet; Thence South 71°57'27"
West, 60 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described
parcel of land shall henceforth be known as GROVE STREET.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is
hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution to be recorded in the office of the
County Recorder of San Diego County.
