RESOLUTION ACCEPTING STATEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING
AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF
(Flood Hazard Acknowledgement - Dixieline Lumber
Company, 3640 Highland Avenue)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of National City that a Statement of Understanding
granted to the City of National City by Dixieline Lumber
Company affecting property at 3640 Highland Avenue is
hereby accepted and the City Clerk is directed to record
the same.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of May, 1978.

WHEREAS, said owner desires to obtain a Building Permit in compliance with Or-
dinance Number 1491-of the City of National City.
NOW, THEREFORE,__. in consideration for_the granting_of such Building Permit the
owner does acknowledge on his behalf and on the behalf of his heirs, successors, assigns,
executors and -administrators as follows:
The OMER is advised that:
a) - The -above -described property is-w-ithin--Pone-"A"; Special Flood Hazard
Area, per the I.-.4.-Flood Hazard_Boundary Map No. H014 with amend-
ments thereto, and
b) The owner can make application to the Federal Insurance Administration
for -Flood Hazard Insurance, and
c) The -City has specific biiilding code requirements -for those areas
within the Flood -.Hazard area, -which may be different -from -those of
other areas within the City.
2. In consideration for the granting to the OWNER of a permit by the City of
National City to erect one or more buildings or structures upon the above described
property, the OWNER fully and forever releases and discharges the City of National City,
its officers and employees of and from any and all claims, demands, actions or causes of
tion which the OhNER might have against the City of National City by rason of any
images, general or special, sustained or occasioned by reason of the fldwing of flood
;ters onto any portion of the real property above described.
Said "STATEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING" shall run with and' be a burden on the within
described property and shall be binding upon the owner and on behalf of owners, heirs,
successors, assigns, executors and administrators.
