RESOLUTION RESCINDING THE CALLING OF A SPECIAL
MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO PRESENT'TO THE VOTERS OF
NATIONAL CITY THE QUESTION OF RESCINDING A
POLICE RETIREMENT PROGRAM WITH BENEFITS
COMMENCING AT AGE 50 YEARS
BE IT RESOLVED that Resolutions 12,708 and
12,709 are rescinded and the calling of
Election on November 7, 1978 to present
to the electors as to whether or not to
retirement program commencing at age 50
a Special Municipal
a ballot proposition
implement a police
years as set forth
in Resolution No. 12,708 is hereby revoked, rescinded and
cancelled.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is
authorized and directed to communicate the decision of this
Resolution to the Registrar of Voters of San Diego County
and to take all other steps necessary to carry out the
intention of this Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of August, 1978.
