HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 12,862RESOLUTION NO. 12,862 RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CONVERSION OF STREET LIGHTS TO HIGH-PRESSURE SODIUM LAMPS WHEREAS, the City Council desires to institute an energy and money saving program through the modification of street lighting systems, and WHEREAS, the San Diego Gas & Electric Company has charge of the City's street lighting system; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby authorizes and directs the San Diego Gas & Electric Company to make the following modifications to the City's street lighting system: a. Change all 55,000 lumen mercury vapor lamps to 400-watt high-pressure sodium lamps. b. Change all 20,000 lumen mercury vapor lamps to 150-watt high-pressure sodium lamps.
