RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF INTENTION TO VACATE
AND CLOSE 24TH STREET BETWEEN THE EASTERLY LINE
OF PROSPECT STREET AND THE WESTERLY LINE OF
EUCLID AVENUE (FORMERLY ORANGE STREET)
The City Council of the City of National City,
California, hereby declares its intention to vacate and
close, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division
9 of the Streets and Highways Code of California, 24th
Street between the easterly line of Prospect Street and
the westerly line of Euclid Avenue, situated in the City
of National City, County of San Diego, State of California,
more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and incorporated herein as though set forth in full.
Time for hearing any and all persons interested in
or objecting to the proposed vacation is hereby set for
7; ',5". P.M., F 1977, in the City
Council Chambers in the Civic Center in the City of National
City, California.
The City Engineer of the City of National City,
California, is hereby directed to post notice of the passage
of this Resolution and the time and place of hearing in
accordance with law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of January, 1977.

EXHIBIT "A"
DESCRIPTION OF VACATION
Those portions of 24th Street described as follows:
That portion of 30 foot wide 24th Street adjacent to Lot 8, Block 3, Home Crest
Villas, according to Map thereof number 1148, recorded September 28, 1908, in
the County Recorder's Office, San Diego County, State of California, and also;
The Northerly 10 feet of Lot 132, Lincoln Acres Annex, according to Map thereof
number 1745, recorded January 3, 1923, in the County Recorder's Office, San
Diego County, California (excepting the Easterly 29.94 feet thereof) and also;
The Northerly 20 feet of Lot 1, Quarter Section 127, lying Northerly of said
Lot 132 of Lincoln Acres Annex lying Easterly of the Easterly line of Prospect
Street as said street is shown on said Map of Lincoln Acres Annex, according to
Map of Rancho de la Nacion number 166, recorded in the County Recorder's
Office May 11, 1869, San Diego County, California, (except the Easterly 29.94
feet thereof).
