HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 12,227RESOLUTION NO. 12,227 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT (GP-3-76) TO THE NATIONAL CITY GENERAL PLAN DATED SEPTEMBER, 1974, AND GENERAL PLAN MAP 1973-74 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has caused and duly held studies and proceedings for the timely amendment of the General Plan of the City of National City, pursuant to Title 7, Chapter 3, Article 7, of the Government Code of the State of California, and WHEREAS, after having provided proper notice of the time and place as provided by law the Planning Commission has held a public hearing to consider said amendment, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did consider all evidence and testimony presented at said hearing, in- cluding the Planning Department Staff Report and Recommenda- tion, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recognizes the need and desirability to conduct reviews of, and consider amendments to, the General Plan to accommodate the changing needs of the community; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of National City approve an amendment to the National City General Plan and General Plan Map as follows: 1. To change the land use designation on the property at 2529 and 2537 East 13th Street from "General Commercial" to "Residential 6-10 Dwelling Units Per Acre" as shown on the map entitled GP-3-76 on file in the City Clerk's Office as Document No. 58900 2. To change the land use designation on the properties between 30th and 31st Streets and "B" and "D" Avenues from "General Commercial" to "Residential 6-10 Dwelling Units Per Acre" as shown on the map entitled GP-3-76 on file in the City Clerk's Office as Document No. 58900 3. To change the land use designation on the property on the west side of Highland Avenue and south of State Route 54 Freeway right-of-way (Assessor's Parcel No. 562-320-28) from "General Commercial" to "Light Industrial" as shown on the map entitled GP-3-76 on file in the City Clerk's Office as Document No. 58900 4. To change the land use designation on the CT-PD zoned property between 14th and 16th Streets and Sheryl Lane and Freeway I-805 (Assessor's Parcel No. 557-430-27) from "General Commercial" to "Residential 6-10 Dwelling Units Per Acre" as shown on the map entitled GP-3-76 on file in the City Clerk's Office as Document No. 58900 PASSED AND ADOPTED this llth day of January, 1977.
