VACATION OF 24TH STREET, SOUTH SIDE, IN THE
VICINITY OF WILSON AVENUE
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of
National City, California, that Twenty-fourth
Street,
South side, in the vicinity of Wilson Avenue, as more
particularly referred to in Resolution of Intention No.
12,188, is unnecessary for present or prospective public
street purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the public interest,
convenience and necessity of said City requires the res-
ervation of a certain, public easement, as more particularly
referred to in Resolution of Intention No. 12,188.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED., that Twenty-fourth Street,
South side, in the vicinity of Wilson Avenue, as more
particularly described in Exhibit "A", which said Exhibit is
attached hereto and made a part hereof, be, and the same
is hereby vacated.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of National
City reserves and excepts from the foregoing vacation the
permanent easement as more particularly described hereinafter:
Reserving and excepting to the City of National
City the right,
ing, repairing,
public utilities
limited to sewer
easement and privilege of placing, construct -
replacing, maintaining, using, and operating
of any kind or nature, including, but not
, water, and drainage, and all necessary
and proper fixtures and equipment for the use in
connection
therewith, through, over, under, upon, along and across
all the portions or parts of the hereinafter described
easement.
Also reserving and excepting from the vacation,
subject an.d subordinate to the aforementioned easement
to the City of National City, the permanent right at any
time, or from time to time, pursuant to any franchise or
renewal thereof, for and on behalf of the San Diego Gas
& Electric Company, the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph
Company and the California American Water Company, or any
other utility company operating under a municipal or state
franchise with the City of National City, to construct,
maintain, operate, replace, remove, and renew lines of
pipe, conduits, cables, wires, poles, and other related
structures, including the necessary use of equipment and
fixtures for the operation of gas pipe lines, telegraphic
and telephone lines, and for the transportation or distri-
bution of electric energy, through, over, under, upon,
along and across all portions of the hereinafter described
easement:
The easements and rights hereinabove-reserved
and excepted shall include the right of ingress thereto
and egress therefrom, together with the right to maintain
the said easement free and clear of any excavation or
fills, the erection or constructionofany building or
other structures, the planting of any tree or trees thereon,
or the drilling or digging of any well or wells thereon,
together with the right to otherwise protect from all hazards
the operationanduse of any right hereby reserved. Upon
written permission of the City and of any public utility
listed heretofore, the owners of the underlying fee may
utilize the above described parcel of land for structures,
approved plantings, the installation of privately owned
pipelines, and/or other approved usages.
The easement reserved herein is in, under, over,
upon, along and across that portion of Twenty-fourth Street,
South side, in the vicinity of Wilson Avenue, vacated by
this document and as more particularly described in Exhibit
"A", attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk shall
cause a certified copy of an Order of Vacation to be recorded
in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County,
pursuant to Section 8324, California Streets and Highways
Code.

Those portions of Blocks 104, 153 and 168, together with the Streets and
alleys as vacated and closed adjoining said. Blocks, of National City, in
the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, according
to Map thereof No. 348 filed in the office of the County Recorder of said
County described as follows:
Beginning at the northwesterly corner of Lot 21 of E. J. Christman Business
and Industrial Park 1, according to Map thereof No. 8038 filed in the office
of said County Recorder; thence along the northerly prolongation of the
westerly line thereof North 17°43'34" West 48. 13 feet; thence North 72°07'27"
East 206. 99 feet to a tangent 508 foot radius curve concave northerly; thence
easterly along the arc of said curve 140.41 feet through an angle of 15° 50' 13";
thence tangent to said curve North 56° 17' 14" East 43. 42 feet to a tangent
632 foot radius curve concave southerly; thence.easterly along the arc of
said curve 176.66 feet through an angle of 16° 00' 57" to an angle point in the
boundary line of Lot 15 of said Map No. 8038; thence along the boundary
line if said Lots 15 and 21 of said Map No. 8038 as follows: South 17°41'49"
East 10 feet to a point in the arc of a 350 foot radius curve concave southerly,
a radial line of said curve bears North 17°41'49" West to said point; thence
westerly along the arc of said curve 111.58 feet; thence tangent to said
curve South 54° 02' 14" West 110.71 feet to a tangent 450 foot radius curve
concave northerly; thence westerly along the arc of said curve 143.46 feet;
thence tangent to said curve South 72°18'11" West 75.23 feet; thence South
63°35'49" West 132. 07 feet to the point of beginning.

by the City Council of the City of National City, here-
by orders the vacation of the following street within
the City limits of National City:

together with the Streets and alleys as
