HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 12,554RESOLUTION NO. 12,554 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT (GP-3-77) TO THE NATIONAL CITY GENERAL PLAN AND GENERAL PLAN MAP WHEREAS, the City Council has held studies and proceedings for the timely amendment of the General Plan of the City of National City, pursuant to Title 7, Chapter 3, Article 7, of the Government Code of the State of California, and WHEREAS, after having provided proper notice of the time and place as provided by law the City Council has held a public hearing to consider said amendment, and WHEREAS, the City Council did consider all evi- dence and testimony presented at said hearing, including the staff report, and WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need and desirability to conduct reviews of, and consider amend- ments to, the General Plan to accommodate the changing needs of the community; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of National City approves an amendment to the National City General Plan and General Plan Map as follows: 1. To change from "Residential 11-15 Dwelling Units Per Acre" to "Neighborhood Commercial" the property at 711 Palm Avenue (Assessor's Parcel 557-112-02) as shown on the map entitled GP-3-77 on file in the City Clerk's Office as Document No. 6A0610 2. To modify the "Compatibility Matrix" to pro- vide for the compatibility of single family zoning (RS-1 and RS-2) with all residential density categories with the addition of PUD combining zone.
