RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF INTENTION TO VACATE
AND CLOSE EASTERLY HALF OF COOLIDGE AVENUE
BETWEEN THE NORTH LINE OF 19TH STREET AND THE
NORTH LINE OF 20TH STREET; AND 19TH STREET
BETWEEN THE CENTERLINE OF COOLIDGE AVENUE
AND THE WEST LINE OF HOOVER AVENUE (SC-5-77)
The City Council of the City of National City,
California, hereby declares its intention to vacate and
close, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division
9 of the Streets and Highways Code of California, easterly
half of Coolidge Avenue between the north line of 19th
Street and the north line of 20th Street; and 19th Street
between the centerline of Coolidge Avenue and the west
line of Hoover Avenue situated in the City of National
City, County of San Diego, State of California, more
particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and incorporated herein as though set forth in full, sub-
ject to reservations of easements and rights of way to
be located thereon.
Time for hearing any and all persons interested
in or objecting to the proposed vacation is hereby set
for 7:45 P.M., September 6, 1977, in the City Council
Chambers in the Civic Center in the City of National
City, California.
The City Engineer of the City of National City,
California, is hereby directed to post notice of the
passage of this Resolution and the time and place of
hearing in accordance with law.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION FOR THE VACATION OF 19TH STREET BETWEEN HOOVER AVENUE AND
COOLIDGE AVENUE TOGETHER WITH THE EASTERLY HALF OF COOLIDGE AVENUE BETWEEN
19TH STREET AND 20TH STREET.
All that portion of Nineteenth Street lying between the Northerly
prolongation of the Westerly line of lot 1, Block 84, National City, per
map thereof number 348, filed in the office of the County Recorder of
San Diego County, California, October 2, 1882 and the Southerly prolonga-
tion of the Easterly line of lot 13, Block 83 of said Map 348. TOGETHER
WITH the Easterly half of Coolidge Avenue (being 40 feet in width) lying
between the Westerly prolongation of the Southerly line of lot 10 of said
Block 83 and the Westerly prolongation of the Southerly line of lot 10
of said Block 84.
