A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A PURCHASE AGREE-
MENT AND ESCROW INSTRUCTIONS FOR ACQUISITION
OF DRAINAGE EASEMENTS AND ACCEPTING CONVEY-
ANCE OF SAID REAL PROPERTY
(Paradise Creek - 16th to National, Dembo,
Colonial Ford, Inc.)
WHEREAS, the City intends to construct an
underground storm drainage channel from 16th Street to West
Avenue in National City, and
WHEREAS, said extension requires the acquisition
of private property for public purposes as described on the
attached Exhibits 'A' and 'B',
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City
Council of the City of National City that:
Section 1. The Assistant to the City Manager is
hereby authorized to execute that
certain Purchase Agreement and Escrow
Instructions for the acquisition in
fee of all this real property des-
cribed on the attached Exhibits 'A'
and 'B'.
Section 2. The City hereby accepts conveyance of
the real property described in said
Exhibits 'A' and 'B' and authorizes
and directs the City Clerk to execute
a certificate of acceptance and record
the conveying instrument.
A copy of said Purchase Agreements and Escrow
Instructions are on file in the Office of the City Clerk and
reference is made herein for all particulars contained therein.

EXHIBIT 'A' (DEMBO)
The following described real property in the City of National City, County
of San Diego, State of California:
An easement and right of way for drainage purposes and appurtenances thereto, over,
under, along and across portions of Lots 10, 11, 12 and the westerly half of "A" Avenue
as vacated and closed to public use immediately adjoining said Lots 11 and 12 on the
East, in Block 1, being a subdivision of 10 acre Lot 8 of Quarter Section 154 of Rancho
de la Nacion, according to Map thereof No. 552 filed in the office of the County Recorder
of said County, described as follows:
Parcel 1
Beginning at a point in the southerly line of said Lot 10 distant thereon 90 feet easterly
from the southwesterly corner of said Lot; thence easterly along the southerly line
of said Lots 10 and 11 and the easterly prolongation thereof 200 feet to the centerline
of "A" Avenue, 80 feet wide; thence northerly along said centerline 40 feet; thence
southwesterly in a direct line 204 feet to the_point of beginning.
Parcel 2
A temporary construction easement 5 feet in width lying northwesterly of and immediately
adjoining the northwesterly line of Parcel 1 above described..
EXHIBIT 'A' (DEMBO)
The following described real property in the City of National City, County
of San Diego, State of California:
An easement and right of way for drainage purposes and appurtenances thereto, over,
under, along and across portions of Lots 10, 11, 12 and the westerly half of "A" Avenue
as vacated and closed to public use immediately adjoining said Lots 11 and 12 on the
East, in Block 1, being a subdivision of 10 acre Lot 8 of Quarter Section 154 of Rancho
de la Nacion, according to Map thereof No. 552 filed in the office of the County Recorder
of said County, described as follows:
Parcel 1
Beginning at a point in the southerly line of said Lot 10 distant thereon 90 feet easterly
from the southwesterly corner of said Lot; thence easterly along the southerly line
of said Lots 10 and 11 and the easterly prolongation thereof 200 feet to the centerline
of ."A" Avenue, 80 feet wide; thence northerly along said centerline 40 feet; thence
southwesterly in a direct line 204 feet to the_point of beginning.
Parcel 2
A temporary construction easement 5 feet in width lying northwesterly of and immediately
adjoining the northwesterly line of Parcel 1 above described.
EXHIBIT 'B' (COLONIAL FORD, INC.)
The following described real property in the City of National City, County
of San Diego, State of California:
An easement and right of way for drainage purposes and appurtenances thereto,
over, under, along and across that portion of Block 17 and of the alley lying
within said Block of National City, according to Map thereof No. 348 filed in
the office of the County Recorder of said County described as follows:
Parcel 1
A strip of land 45 feet in width, lying 22. 50 feet on each side of the following
described line:
Beginning at a point in the easterly line of said Block 17 distant thereon 44. 50
feet southerly from the northeast corner of said Block; thence southwesterly
in a direct line 200 feet more or less to a point in the northeasterly line of
West Avenue distant thereon 201. 00 feet from the point of intersection of said
northeasterly line with the northerly line of Block 17. Said strip of land begins
in the easterly line of said Block and ends in the northeastelry line of said
West Avenue.
Parcel 2
A temporary construction easement over, along and across a strip of land 5 feet
in width lying northwesterly of and immediately adjoining the northwesterly line
of Parcel 1 above and also a strip of land 5 feet in width lying southeasterly
of and immediately adjoining the southeasterly line of Parcel 1 above.
Said 5 foot strips begin in the easterly line of said Block and end in the north-
easterly line of said West Avenue.
Said West Avenue is described in deed to the City of National City, recorded
in Book 1263, Page 269 of Deeds, records of said County.

State of California, a permanent easement and right-of-way to construct, reconstruct, maintain, operate
and repair for drainage purposes and appurtenances thereto.
including any or all apurtenances thereto, together with the right of ingress and egress, ems, under,
along and across all that real property situated in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State
of California, described as follows:
An easement and right of way for drainage purposes and
appurtenances thereto, under, along and across that
portion of Block 17 and of the alley lying within said
Block of National City, according to Map thereof No.
348 filed in the office of the County Recorder of said
County described on the attached Exhibit A.
Said easement shall also include the right to inspect
the easement from the surface thereof, but this.right
to surface inspection shall in no way limit grantor's
right to construct improvements on and above the
surface over laying said easement.
