HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 12,326RESOLUTION NO. 12,326 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT (GP-1-77) TO THE NATIONAL CITY GENERAL PLAN AND GENERAL PLAN MAP WHEREAS, the City Council has held studies and proceedings for the timely amendment of the General Plan of the City of National City, pursuant to Title 7, Chapter 3, Article 7, of the Government Code of the State of California, and WHEREAS, after having provided proper notice of the time and place as provided by law the City Council has held a public hearing to consider said amendment, and WHEREAS, the City Council did consider all evidence and testimony presented at said hearing, includ- ing the Transmittal of Planning Commission proceedings and the Planning Commission reports and recommendations, and WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need and desirability to conduct reviews of, and consider amendments to, the General Plan to accomodate the changing needs of the community; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the City of National City approves an amendment to the National City General Plan and General Plan Map as follows: 1. To change the land use designation from "Residential 16-20 Dwelling Units/Acre" the properties bounded by East 4th Street on the north, "V" Avenue on the west, East 5th Street on the south, and a line parallel to and 50 feet west of Euclid Avenue on the east, as shown on the map entitled GP-1-77 on file in the City Clerk's Office as Document No. 59370 2. To change the land use designation from "Medical" to "Residential 11-15 Dwelling Units/Acre" the property at 2226 East 5th Street (Assessor's Parcel 557-070-02), as shown on the map entitled GP-1-77 on file in the City Clerk's Office as Document No. 59370 3. To change the land use designation from "General Commercial" and "Open Space" to Residential 6-10 Dwelling Units/Acre" the properties at 2337 East 13th Street (Assessor's Parcels 557-380-14 and 558-091-01), as shown on the map entitled GP-1-77 on file in the City Clerk's Office as Document No. 59370 4. To change the land use designation from "General Commercial" to "Residential 6-10 Dwelling Units/Acre" the property at 841 East 28th Street (Assessor's Parcel 563-080-20), as shown on the map entitled GP-1-77 on file in the City Clerk's Office as Document No. 59370 5. To change the land use designation on the northerly 140 feet of Parcel "C" of Parcel Map #3114 located at the northeast corner of Plaza Boulevard and proposed extension of "N" Avenue from "Residential 21-30 Units/ Acre" to "General Commercial", as shown on the map entitled GP-1-77 on file in the City Clerk's Office as Document No. 59370 6. To change the land use designation on the ML (Manufacturing Light) zoned property on the south side of 8th Street and west of I-5 Freeway (Assessor's Parcel No. 555-071-07 & 08) from "Military" to "Light Industrial", as shown on the map entitled GP-1-77 on file in the City Clerk's Office as Document No. 59370 ATTEST: 7. To change the land use designation on the property at 1709 East 16th Street (Assessor's Parcel No. 557-440-57 & 58) from "Residential 6-10 Dwelling Units/ Acre" to "Residential 11-15 Dwelling Units/Acre," as shown on the map entitled GP-1-77 on file in the City Clerk's Office as Document No. 59370 8. To add to the Redevelopment Survey Areas, shown on Figure 1 of the National City General Plan the amended Redevelopment Survey areas adopted by City Council Res- olutions No. 12,215 and 12,216, as shown on the map entitled GP-1-77 on file in the City Clerk's Office as Document No. 59370 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of April, 1977.
