A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
AWARDING BID FOR THE SALE OF CITY OWNED
REAL PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF ALL DOCUMENTS ATTENDANT TO SAID SALE
(City owned property, loth & 'R' Avenue, N.C.)
WHEREAS, on April 5, 1977 the City Council did
adopt Resolution No. 12,308 authorizing and inviting bids
for the real property located at the northeast corner of
loth Street and 'R' Avenue in National City, more partic-
ularly described on the Exhibit "A", attached hereto, and
WHEREAS, the City has given notice of this sale
pursuant to Section 54220 et.seq. of the California Gov-
ernment Code, and
WHEREAS, on April 27, 1977, pursuant to Resolu-
tion No. 12,308, the City Clerk did receive written and
oral bids from fifteen bidders, and
WHEREAS, the highest bidder is Anthony R. Tafoya
and Leroy H. Steinauer, submitting a bid of fifteen thousand
and no/100 dollars ($15,000);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
Section 1. The City Council hereby accepts the
bid of Leroy H. Steinauer and Anthony R.
Tafoya in the amount of $15,000 and
rejects all others.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to open
an escrow for the sale of said property
and to sign all applicable documents.
Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a Corporation Grant Deed con-
veying said property pursuant to the
escrow instructions.
Section 4. The City Clerk and/or City Treasurer
is hereby authorized to return bid
deposits to all unsuccessful bidders.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of May, 1977.

EXHBIT "A"
That portion of the Westerly Half of 80 Acre Lot 1 in
Quarter Section 129 of Rancho De La Nacion, in the City
of National City, County of San Diego, State of Calif-
ornia, according to Map thereof No. 166, filed in the
Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, _
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southerly terminus of that course in the
Northerly boundary of Santos Subdivision, according to Map
thereof No. 2458, filed in the Office of the County Re-
corder of San Diego County, which is shown on said Map No.
2458, as "South 18° 14' 00" East, 27.18 feet", being the
Southwesterly corner of that parcel of land described in
deed to Otto V. Anhalt and wife, recorded April 25, 1933
as Document No. 22001 id Book 212, Page 148 of Official
Records; thence along the Westerly line of said Anhalt's
land being along the above described course in the boundary
of Santos Subdivision and the Northerly prolongation thereof
North 18° 14' 00" West, 140.00 feet; thence North 71° 46' 00"
Fst, 55.00 feet; thence South 18° 14' 00" Fast to the 300.00
foot radius curve concave Northerly in said Northerly
boundary of Santos Subdivision; thence Westerly along said
curve and said boundary to the Point of Beginning. Excepting
therefrom that portion lying Southwesterly of the following
described line: "
Finning at the Southerly terminus of that course in the
Northerly boundary of Santos Subdivision, according to Map
thereof No. 2458, filed in the Office of the County Recorder
of San Diego County, which is shown on said Map No. 2458,
as "South. 18° 14' 00" East, 27.18 feet", being the South-
westerly Corner of that parcel of land described in deed to
Otto V. Anhalt and wife recorded April. 25, 1933 as
Document No. 22001 in Book 212 Page 148 of Official Records;
thence along the Westerly line of said Anhalt's land being
along the above described course in the boundary of Santos
Subdivision and the Northerly prolongation thereof North
18° 14' West, 38.18 feet; thence South 71° 46' West, 55 feet
to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence Fasterly and Southerly
along the arc of an 85 foot radius curve concave Southwesterly,
and tangent to said last mentioned course, to a point of
intersection with the Northerly boundary of said Santos
Subdivision.
