HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 12,343RESOLUTION NO. 12,343 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA AMENDING A REDEVELOPMENT SURVEY AREA EARLIER ADOPTED PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 33310 AND 33312 OF THE CALIFORNIA COMMUNITY REDEVELOP- MENT LAW WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of National City, by its Resolution No. 9429, adopted August 22, 1967 designated a Survey Area for the purpose of community redevelopment; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of National City, by its Resolution No. 9784, adopted April 1, 1969 amended the Survey Area as adopted by Resolution No. 9429 to add an additional small area to said Survey Area; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of National City, by its Resolution No. 12, 215 adopted December 21, 1976 further amended the Survey Area to include additional area between 29th and 32nd Street along National Avenue; and WHEREAS, surveys and plans now in progress indicate the desirability of adding to the Survey Area the area bounded by 16th Street on the North, 18th Street on the South, National Avenue on the East and Hoover Avenue on the West in order that additional planning and feasibility studies may be made in order to determine if additional area or areas should be added to the E. J. Christman Business & Industrial Park Redevelopment Project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of National City, California hereby reaffirms its finding and determination earlier made by its Resolution No. 12,215 adopted December 21, 1976 that pursuant to Section 33312 of the California Community Redevelopment Law the area shown on the drawing marked Exhibit A-1 and set forth in the description marked Exhibit A-2, each attached hereto and incorporated herein, requires study to determine if a redevelopment project or projects within said area are feasible; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the area shown on said drawing marked Exhibit A-1 and set forth in said description marked Exhibit A-2 is hereby designated a Redevelopment Survey Area.
