RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY
(Grant Deed - Bernard J. & Wilma I. Jaehn, for Street
Purposes)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of National City, California, as follows:
Pursuant to Resolution No. 7083, the City Clerk
is hereby ordered to execute a Certificate of Acceptance
and to record the following instrument conveying an interest
in or easement upon real estate to the City of National City:
GRANT DEED from Bernard J. and Wilma I. Jaehn, for
Street Purposes dated

AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
AND WILMA I. JAEHN AND BERNARD J. JAEHN AND
LUCILLE ANN JORDAN AND DENTON KING JORDAN
FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF A PORTION OF 5TH STREET
AND THE DEDICATION OF A PORTION OF 5TH STREET
FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City of National City (City) desires
to acquire and consider the improvement of a portion of East
5th Street, and
WHEREAS, Wilma I. Jaehn and Bernard J. Jaehn (Jaehn)
and Lucille Ann Jordan and Denton King Jordan (Jordan) desire
to participate with, and cooperate in, the improvement and
dedication of a portion of 5th Street;
NOW, THEREFORE, for and consideration of the mutual
covenants herein expressed, and for other good and sufficient
consideration, the parties hereto do agree as follows:
SECTION 1. JORDAN TO GRADE: Jordan will grade the
complete cul-de-sac area at the Westerly end of 5th Street to
specifications prepared by the City Engineer and as the same
is shown in National City Engineering Department Drawing No.
385-D.
SECTION 2. JORDAN TO PLACE AGGREGATE BASE: After
grading the aforementioned complete cul-de-sac at the Westerly
end of 5th Street Jordan shall install in place 6" of aggregate
base according to the plans and specifications of the City En-
gineer of the City of National City.
SECTION 3. JORDAN TO PAY JAEHN: Upon execution of
this agreement between the parties, Jordan will hand Jaehn the
sum of $1,000.00, in cash, or its equivalent.
SECTION 4. JAEHN TO CONVEY CUL-DE-SAC: Jaehn is
to convey to the City of National City, for street purposes,
the Southerly half of the cul-de-sac at the Westerly end of
5th Street as the same is described on Exhibit "A" hereof and
as further described in National City Engineering Department
Drawing No. 910-B.
SECTION 5. JAEHN TO DEDICATE 20' FOR STREET PURPOSES:
In addition to the aforementioned conveyance Jaehn is to deed
to the City of National City, for public street purposes, the 20
feet Northerly of the Southerly half of the cul-de-sac above
described as the same is more fully described in Exhibit "A"
hereto and National City Engineer Drawing No. 910-B.
SECTION 6. CITY TO PAVE: After the above described
consideration of improvements and dedication, City will construct
a 2" asphalt surface on the Southerly half of the cul-de-sac on
the Westerly end of 5th Street as shown in National City Drawing
No. 385-D.
SECTION 7. AGREEMENT BINDING ON SUCCESSORS IN INTEREST:
The terms of this Agreement shall be binding upon the successors
in interest, heirs, or assigns of each of the parties hereto.

of 80 Acre Lot 2, Quarter Section 130 of Rancho De La Nacion, in the
City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, accord-
ing to Map thereof No. 166, filed in the Office of the Recorder of said
San Diego County Map 11,1869 described as follows:
Conuuencing at the Northeast corner of said West Half of the West
Half of the East Half of said 80 Acre Lot 2; thence Southerly along the
Easterly line thereof, a distance of 301;82 feet; thence Westerly and
parallel with the Southerly line of said East Half a distance of 87.99
feet to a point of tangency with a 10 foot radius curve; thence North-
westerly along the arc of said curve, concave Northerly, through a
