HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 12,367RESOLUTION NO. 12,367 DEDICATION OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES (5th Street) WHEREAS, the City of National City is the owner of all that certain property situated in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, more particularly hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the City of National City desires that said property be dedicated for public street purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City, that the following described property be and is hereby dedicated for public street purposes: That portion of the West Half of the West Half of the East Half of 80 Acre Lot 2, Quarter Section 130 of Rancho De La Nacion, in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof No. 166, filed in the Office of the Recorder of said San Diego County May 11, 1869 described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said West Half of the West Half of the East Half of said 80 Acre Lot 2; thence Southerly along the Easterly line thereof, a distance of 301.82 feet; thence Westerly and parallel with the Southerly line of said East Half a distance of 87.99 feet to a point of tangency with a 10 foot radius curve; thence Northwesterly along the arc of said curve, concave Northerly, through a central angle of 43°20'30", a distance of 7.56 feet to a point of cusp with a tangent curve with a radius of 45 feet; thence Northwesterly along the arc of said curve, concave Southerly through a central angle of 106°57'14" a distance of 83.70 feet to the Southwest corner of EARL L. AND JEANNIE M. ROYS property according to Book 6718, page 237 of Official Records and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing along the arc of said 45 foot radius curve, concave North- easterly, through a central angle of 149°39'48", a distance of 117.55 feet; thence Northerly along a line parallel with the Easterly line of said West Half of the West Half of the East Half of said 80 Acre Lot 2, a distance of 57.62 feet thence Westerly and parallel with the Southerly line of said East Half a distance of 65.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described parcel of land shall henceforth be known as FIFTH STREET. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County.
