HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 12,398RESOLUTION NO. 12,398 RESOLUTION DESIGNATING ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES FOR THE SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM WHEREAS, the County of San Diego and its incorporated cities are required by Section 66796 of the Government Code to designate an enforcement agency to carry out the provisions of the Z'Berg-Kapiloff Solid Waste Control Act of 1976; and WHEREAS, the County and each City within the County of San Diego has designated or will designate its own enforce- ment agency(ies); NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that the Public Works Department be designated as the enforcement agency for the City of National City for all non -health related standards pursuant to subsection (a) (3) of Section 66796 of the Government Code. The San Diego County Health Department is designated as the enforcement agency for health related standards for storage, collection, agricul- tural wastes, and the issuance of permits for solid waste facil- ities.
