HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 12,112RESOLUTION NO. 12,112 DEDICATION OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES (31st Street, 'B' Avenue, Terry Lane, 'T' Avenue, Gamma Street, 4th Street, Delta Street and 7th Street) WHEREAS, the City of National City is the owner of all that certain property situated in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, more particularly hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the City of National City desires that said property be dedicated for public street purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City, that the following described property be and is hereby dedicated for public street purposes and shall henceforth be known as listed below: 1. THIRTY-FIRST STREET The Southerly 20 feet of the Westerly 107.5 feet of the Easterly 226 feet of the Southerly 180.0 feet of the West one-half of 10 Acre Lot 7 in Quarter Section 157 of Rancho De La Nacion, according to Map thereof No. 166 by Morrill, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County. 2. 'B' AVENUE That portion of the Easterly 56.50 feet of the Westerly Half of 10 Acre Lot 7 in Quarter Section 152 of Rancho de la Nacion, in the County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof No. 166, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, May 11, 1869, lying Southerly of the Southerly line of a strip of land 80.00 feet in width, the center line of said strip being described as follows: Beginning at the point of intersection of the center line of "B" Street with the center line of 30th Street, as said Streets are shown on Budd Villa Tract, according to Map thereof No. 1067 on file in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, said intersection having coordinates N-179, 601.236 and E-1, 739, 423.249 per California Coordinate System Zone 6; Thence South 79°31'23" West, 628.16 feet to a point on the West line of Block 1 of said Budd Villa Tract, intersected by the Easterly prolongation of the Center line of said 30th Street, as said 30th Street was established by Resolution of Dedication No. 8110 by the City Council of the City of National City and recorded May 4, 1962 as file No. 77362. EXCEPTING therefrom the Southerly 120.00 feet. ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom that portion of said parcel lying Southerly of a 20 foot radius curve, concave to the Southwesterly and tangent to the Easterly and Northerly lines of said parcel. 3. TERRY LANE All that portion of 80 Acre Lot 1, Quarter Section 129, Rancho De La Nacion per Map thereof Number 166 as filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, California, described as follows: Commencing at the Northwesterly corner of said 80 Acre Lot 1; Thence North 71°38' East, along the Northerly line of said 80 Acre Lot 1, a distance of 663.70 feet; Thence South 18°14' East, along the center line of "R" Avenue, a distance of 240 feet; Thence North 71°38' East, 30 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; Thence continuing North 71°38' East, 100 feet; Thence South 18°14' East, 50 feet; Thence South 71°38' West, 100 feet; Thence North 18°14' West, 50 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. 4. 'T' AVENUE That portion of 80 Acre Lot 2, Quarter Section 130, Rancho De La Nacion, per map thereof Number 166, as filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, California, described as follows: Commencing at the Southeasterly corner of the West Half of said 80 Acre Lot 2; Thence North 72°07'50" East, along the Southerly line of said 80 Acre Lot 2, 90.43 feet; Thence North 17°45'17" West, 40 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; Thence South 72°07'50" West, 60.43 feet; Thence North 17°44'24" West, 120.11 Feet to the point of tangency of a 370 foot radius curve, concave Westerly; Thence along the arc of said curve, through a central angle of 09°36'14" a distance of 62.02 feet; Thence tangent to said Curve, North 27°20'38" West, 271.83 feet to the point of tangency of a 430 foot radius curve, concave Easterly; Thence along the arc of said curve, through a central angle of 09°35'25" a distance of 71.97 feet; Thence North 17°45'13" West, 118.40 feet; Thence North 72°07'50" East, 56.43 feet; Thence South 17°45'17" East, 58.59 feet to the point of tangency of a 370 foot radius curve, concave Easterly; Thence along the arc of said curve, through a central angle of 13°41'40" a distance of 88.44 feet; Thence tangent to said curve, South 31°26'57" East, 211.13 feet; Thence South 17°44'24" East, 288.61 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. 5. GAMMA STREET All that portion of Lots 236 and 234 of National Vista Number 2, per Subdivision Map thereof Number 2759, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, California, March 9, 1951, described as follows: Commencing at the Northeasterly corner of said Lot 236; Thence North 89°13'59" West (Record North 89°40' West) along the Northerly line of said Lot 236 a distance of 9.29 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; Thence continuing North 89°13'59" West, 100.39 feet to a point on the Easterly right-of-way line of Interstate Freeway 805; Thence along said right-of-way line, South 10°06'45" East, 30.55 feet; Thence South 89°13'59" East, 60.67 feet; Thence North 35°36'58" East, 23.50 feet to the beginning of a tangent 25 foot radius curve, concave Southeasterly; Thence along the arc of said curve, through a central angle of 55°09'03" a distance of 24.06 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. 6. FOURTH STREET That portion of 80 Acre Lot 1, Quarter Section 130, Rancho De La Nacion, per map thereof number 166 on file in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, California, described as follows: Commencing at the Southeasterly corner of the Westerly Quarter of said 80 Acre Lot 1; Thence South 72°00'25" West, along the Southerly line of said 80 Acre Lot 1, a distance of 12.62 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; Thence continu- ing South 72°00'25" West, 7730 feet; Thence North 17°46'41" West, 40.00 feet; Thence North 72°00'25" East, 5.22 feet to an angle point on the Westerly right-of-way line of Interstate 805; Thence along said right-of-way line, North 72°00'25" East, 50.34 feet; Thence South 46° 21'02" East, 45.45 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. 7. DELTA STREET All that portion of Lots 11, 12 and 13 of Scott Terrace Subdivision per Map thereof number 3153, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, California, November 4, 1954, described as follows: Commencing at the Southeasterly corner of said Lot 11; Thence North 89°15'45" West (Record North 89°58' East) along the Southerly line of said Lot 11, a distance of 53.03 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, being also the beginning of a tangent 20.00 foot radius curve, concave Northerly; Thence along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 90°00'00" a distance of 31.42 feet; Thence tangent to said curve, North 00°44'15" East, 66.16 feet; Thence North 89°15'45" West, 60.00 feet; Thence South 00°44'15" West, 66.17 feet to the beginning of a tangent 20.00 foot radius curve, concave Northeasterly; Thence along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 90°00'00" a distance of 31.42 feet to a point on the Southerly line of said Lot 13, distant 57.78 feet from the Southwesterly corner thereof; Thence South 89°15'45" East, 99.19 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. 8. SEVENTH STREET That portion of the West Half of the East Half of the West Half of the North Half of the South Half of 80 Acre Lot 2, Quarter Section 130, Rancho De La Nacion, according to Map thereof Number 166 as filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, California, described as follows: Commencing at the Southeasterly corner of said West Half of the East Half of the West Half of the North Half of the South Half of said 80 Acre Lot 2: Thence South 72°05'35" West, along the Southerly line of said West Half of the East Half of the North Half of the South Half of said 80 Acre Lot 2, 30 feet; Thence North 17°45'53" West, 30 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; Thence continuing North 17°45'53" West, 19.79 feet; Thence South 61°58'08" West, 9.38 feet; Thence South 45°14'14" West, 40.15 feet; Thence North 72°05'35" East, 45.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County.
