HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 12,121RESOLUTION NO. 12,121 RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF INTENTION TO VACATE AND CLOSE TWENTIETH STREET BETWEEN ROOSEVELT AND HOOVER AVENUES The City Council of the City of National City, California, hereby declares its intention to vacate and close, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of California, Twentieth Street between Roosevelt and Hoover Avenues situated in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein as though set forth in full. Time for hearing any and all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation is hereby set for 7:45 P.M., September 21, 1976, in the City Council Chambers in the Civic Center in the City of National City, California. The City Engineer of the City of National City, California, is hereby directed to post notice of the passage of this Resolution and the time and place of hearing in accordance with law. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of August, 1976. ATTEST: Resolution No. 12,121 PROPOSED VACATION OF 20th STREET All that portion of 20th Street adjacent to Blocks 44 and 45 of National City, according to the map thereof No. 348, filed in the office of the -County Recorder of San Diego County, October 2, 1882, all in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, and described as follows: Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of aforesaid Block 44, the true point of beginning, thence Southwesterly along the Northerly line of said Block 44 to the Northwesterly corner of said Block 44; thence Northerly in a straight line to the Southwesterly corner of aforesaid Block 45; thence Northeasterly along the Southerly line of said Block 45 to the Southeasterly corner of said Block 45; thence Southerly in a straight line to the Northeast corner of aforesaid Block 44, the true point of beginning.
