DEDICATION OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC
STREET PURPOSES
(Palm Avenue)
WHEREAS, the City of National City is the
owner of all that certain property situated in the City
of National City, County of San Diego, State of California,
more particularly hereinafter described, and
WHEREAS, the City of National City desires that
said property be dedicated for public street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of National City, that the following described
property be and is hereby dedicated for public street
purposes:
All that portion of Quarter Section 131, Rancho
De La Nacion, per Map thereof Number 166, filed
May 11, 1869; Together with all that portion of
Paradena Park, per Tract Number 1404 filed February
16, 1912; all within the City of National City,
County of San Diego, State of California and
filed in the Office of the County Recorder of said
San Diego County and described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeasterly corner of said
Quarter Section 131, Rancho De La Nacion; Thence
South 17°46'41" East, along the Easterly line
of said Quarter Section 131, a distance of
351.29 feet; Thence North 50°24'12" West, 63.06
feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; Thence
continuing North 50°24'12" West, 210.43 feet
to the beginning of a tangent 30 foot radius
curve, concave Easterly; Thence Westerly,
Northerly and Easterly along the arc of said
curve through a central angle of 122°39'58"
a distance of 64.23 feet; Thence North 59°31'47"
West 53.65 feet to a point on the Northerly line
of said Quarter Section 131; Thence South
72°15'46" West, along said Northerly line,
242.82 feet; Thence South 17°44'14" East, 40
feet to a point on the Northerly line of Lot
73 of said Paradena Park; Thence North 72°15'46"
East, along said Northerly line of said Lot 73,
a distance of 107.19 feet to the beginning of
a tangent 30.00 foot radius curve, concave
Southwesterly; Thence Easterly and Southeasterly
along the arc of said curve through a central
angle of 67°55'17" a distance of 35.56 feet;
Thence South 45°11'12" East, 195.20 feet to
the beginning of a tangent 10.00 foot radius
curve, concave Northwesterly; Thence Southerly
and Southwesterly along the arc of said curve
through a central angle of 153°02'31" a distance
of 26.71 feet to a point on the Southerly line
of Lot 74, of said Paradena Park; Thence leaving
said Southerly line of said Lot 74, South 72°
08'41" East, 119.69 feet to the beginning of
a tangent 226.88 foot radius curve, concave
Southwesterly; Thence Easterly and Southeasterly
along the arc of said curve, through a central
angle of 28°18'24" a distance of 112.09 feet;
Thence North 43°38'40" West, 84.09 feet; Thence
North 44°44'48" East, 48.82 feet to the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described
parcel of land shall henceforth be known as PALM AVENUE.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is
hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution to be recorded in the office of the
County Recorder of San Diego County.
