DEDICATION OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC
STREET PURPOSES
(North Palm Avenue)
WHEREAS, the City of National City is the
owner of all that certain property situated in the City
of National City, County of San Diego, State of California,
more particularly hereinafter described, and
WHEREAS, the City of National City desires that
said property be dedicated for public street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of National City, that the following described
property be and is hereby dedicated for public street purposes:
All that portion of Ex Mission Lands of San
Diego, Horton's Purchase, Per Map Number 283,
filed March 9, 1878; Together with all that
portion of Scott Terrace, per Map Number 3153
filed November 4, 1954; Together with all that
portion of Sunny Knoll, per Map Number 2431
filed October 9, 1947; all within the City
of National City, County of San Diego, State
of California, and filed in the Office of
the County Recorder of said San Diego County
and described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeasterly corner of
Lot 1 of said Sunny Knoll; Thence South 00°
45'45" West, (Record South 0°01' East) along
the Easterly line of said Sunny Knoll, 42.18
feet to a point on the Southerly line of said
Ex Mission Lands; Thence North 72°15'46" East,
along said Southerly line, 242.82 feet; Thence
North 59°31'47" West, 53.65 feet to the beginning
of a 30.00 foot radius curve, concave Northeasterly,
which curve is tangent to a line parallel with and
40.00 feet Northerly of the Northerly line of
Quarter Section 131, Rancho De La Nacion; Thence
Westerly and Northerly along the arc of said curve
through a central angle of 63°58'57" a distance
of 33.50 feet; Thence tangent to said curve,
North 43°45'17" West, 244.18 feet to the beginning
of a tangent 599.00 foot radius curve, concave
Easterly; Thence Northwesterly along the arc of
said curve through a central angle of 10°57'28"
a distance of 114.56 feet; Thence North 74°26'26"
West, 227.29 feet; Thence South 59°25'44" East,
91.93 feet to the beginning of a curve concave
Southerly having a radius of 15.00 feet which
a radius line of said curve bears South 19°32'58"
East; Thence Easterly and Southerly along said curve
through a central angle of 82°36'36" a distance of
21.63 feet to a point of cusp with a tangent curve
concave Northeasterly having a radius of 701.00
feet; Thence Southeasterly along said curve through
a central angle of 19°13'44" a distance of 235.26
feet; Thence South 46°10'06" East, 137.59 feet to
the beginning of a tangent 30.00 foot radius curve,
concave Northwesterly; Thence Easterly, Southerly
and Westerly along the arc of said curve through
a central angle of 118°25'52" a distance of 62.01
feet; Thence South 72°15'46" West, 20.58 feet to
the Southeasterly corner of Lot 1 of said Sunny
Knoll; said corner being the point of commencement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described
parcel of land shall henceforth be known as NORTH PALM
AVENUE.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is
hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution to be recorded in the office of the
County Recorder of San Diego County.
