RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF INTENTION TO VACATE
AND CLOSE HARRISON AVENUE FROM THE WESTERLY PRO-
LONGATION OF THE CENTERLINE OF 17TH STREET, SOUTH
A DISTANCE OF 570.24 FEET
The City Council of the City of National City, Calif-
ornia, hereby declares its intention to vacate and close, pur-
suant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets
and Highways Code of California, Harrison Avenue from the Westerly
prolongation of the centerline of 17th Street, South a distance
of 570.24 feet, situated in the City of National City, California,
more particularly shown in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incor-
porated herein as though set forth in full.
Time for hearing any and all persons interested in or
objecting to the proposed vacation is hereby set for 7:45 p.m.,
Tuesday, March 16, 1976, in the City Council Chambers in the
Civic Center in the City of National City, California.
The City Engineer of the City of National City, Calif-
ornia, is hereby directed to post notice of the passage of this
Resolution and the time and place of hearing in accordance with
law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of February, 1976.

EXHIBIT "A"
The land referred to herein is situated in the State of California,
County of San Diego, and is described as follows:
That portion of the Easterly Half of "Harrison avenue," being
40 feet in width, lying between the Westerly prolongation of the center-
line of 20th Street and the Westerly prolongation of the Southerly line
of Lot 8, Block 278 as shown on "Map of National City, California,"
filed October 2, 1882, as Map 'umber 348, on file in the office of the
County Recorder of said San Diego County, California.
