HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 11,699RESOLUTION NO. 11,699 DEDICATION OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES (Transportation Avenue) WHEREAS, the City of National City is the owner of all that certain property situated in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, more partic- ularly hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the City of National City desires that said property be dedicated for public street purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City, that the following described property be and is hereby dedicated for public street purposes: Lot 4 and those portions of Lots 1, 2, 3, 5, 58, 59, 60, 61 and 62, and portions of Twenty-ninth Street and First Avenue, both vacated and closed to public use, in Bahia Vista, in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, according to the Map thereof No. 1815, filed in the office of the County Recorder of said County, December 9, 1924, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the Westerly line of Transportation Avenue with the Southerly boundary line of E. J. Christman Business and Industrial Park I, according to the Map thereof No. 8038, filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, November 7, 1974, thence Easterly along said boundary line a distance of 79.85 feet to an angle point in said boundary; thence Southerly along the boundary of said Map 8038, which is also the Westerly line of Lot 6, and along its Southerly prolongation to the beginning of a tangent 22 foot radius curve, concave Northeasterly, that is tangent with the Northerly line of Thirtieth Street as dedicated by Resolution No. 8110, thence Southerly and Easterly along the arc of said 22 foot radius curve to said point of tangency on the said Northerly line of said Thirtieth Street being the True Point of Beginning; thence retracing to the point of Beginning; thence Southerly, parallel with the said Westerly boundary of Lot 6 to the beginning of a tangent 22 foot radius curve, concave Northwesterly, that is tangent with the Northerly line of said Thirtieth Street, thence Southerly and Westerly along the arc of said 22 foot radius curve to said point of tangency on the said Northerly line of Thirtieth Street; thence Easterly along the said Northerly line of Thirtieth Street a distance of 124 feet more or less to the True Point of Beginning. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described parcel of land shall henceforth be known as TRANSPORTATION AVENUE. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County.
