HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 11,553RESOLUTION NO. 11,553 RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF INTENTION TO VACATE AND CLOSE 25TH STREET BETWEEN THE WESTERLY LINE OF CLEVELAND TO THE EASTERLY LINE OF HARRISON AVENUE, AND CLEVELAND AVENUE FROM THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF 24TH STREET TO THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF 25TH STREET The City Council of the City of National City, California, hereby declares its intention to vacate and close, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of California, 25th Street between the westerly line of Cleveland to the easterly line of Harrison Avenue, and Cleveland Avenue from the southerly line of 24th Street to the southerly line of 25th Street, situated in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California described as follows: All that portion of Twenty-fifth Street adjacent to Block 281 and 282 lying between the easterly line of Harrison Avenue (formerly Ninth Avenue) and the westerly line of Cleveland Avenue (formerly Eighth Avenue) adjacent to Block 281 and vacated forty foot street adjacent to Block 232 and lying between the southerly line of Twenty-fourth Street and the southerly line of Twenty-fifth Street, all according to the Map of National City No. 348 filed in the office of the Recorder of the County of San Diego, State of California, October 2, 1882. (Reserving therefrom the easterly fourteen feet of Cleveland Avenue (formerly Eighth Avenue) adjacent to the westerly line of vacated forty foot Cleveland Avenue and between the southerly line of Twenty-fourth Street and the southerly line of Twenty-fifth Street as shown on said Map 348.) Time for hearing any and all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation is hereby set for 7:45 p.m., September 10, 1974, in the City Council Chambers in the Civic Center in the City of National City, California. The City Engineer of the City of National City, California, is hereby directed to post notice of the passage of this Resolution and the time and place of hear- ing in accordance with law.
