RESOLUTION OPPOSING THE DELETION OF ROUTE 252
CONNECTING HIGHWAY 805 WITH INTERSTATE. 5
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of National City objects to any proposal to eliminate State
Route 252. Said route is designed to carry substantial com-
plement of National City traffic from east -west streets
such as Division Street, Eighth Street, Plaza Boulevard, 18th..
Street and 30th Street.
Rights -of -way fro theconstruction havebeen ob-
tained and large amounts of money for planning have been
expended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a construction of State
Route 252 is necessary for the adequate management of excess
traffic in National City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of
National City calls upon all interested governmental entities
to proceed with the 'construction of State Route 252..
