RESOLUTION DIRECTING NOTICE OF FILING OF ASSESSMENT AND TIME
OF HEARING THEREON
(La Siesta Way, Assessment District No. 178)
The City Council of the City of National City does
hereby resolve as follows:
1. The City Council hereby finds that HAROLD C.
FOSTER, as Engineer of Work and City Engineer of the City of
National City, California, has filed with the City Clerk of
the City of National City, an assessment to represent the
costs and expense of the work and improvement done and made
by
pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 10,670 adopted on the
l6th day of May, 1972
2. That the City Clerk of the City of National
City be and hereby is directed to give notice by publication,
posting and mailing in the time and manner provided by law of
the filing of said assessment and of the time set for hearing
thereon.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that HAROLD C. FOSTER, acting
as the Engineer of Work and the Superintendent of Streets of
the City of National City, California, has made an assessment
under the Improvement Act of 1911, and Resolution of Intention
No. 10,670adopted by the City Council of said City on the 16th
day of May, 1972 to cover the costs and expenses, including
incidental expenses of certain street improvement work which is
described in said Resolution of Intention. Said Assessment is
now on file in the office of the City Clerk in the Civic Center
of the City of National City. Reference is hereby made to said
Resolution of Intention for a description of the street improve-
ment work, the assessment district, the bonds to be issued and
for further particulars.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, pursuant to said Im-
provement Act of 1911, the City Clerk of National City hereby
fixes the 8th day of May, 1973 , at the hour of 8:00 p.m.
as the day and hour, and the Council Chambers of said City
Council in said Civic Center as the place when and where any
and all persons interested in said work or in said assessment or
in the proceedings will be heard by the City Council of National
City. The said work is done under and the proceedings therefor
are pursuant to said Improvement Act of 1911.
The property owners, the contractor for said work or
their assigns, and all other persons interested in said work, or
in said assessment, who feel aggrieved by any act or determination
of the Superintendent of Streets or the Engineer of Work in re-
lation thereto, or who claim that said work has not been per-
formed according to the contract therefor in a good and substan-
tial manner, or who claim that any portion of said work for any
reason was omitted or illegally included in said contract,
or having or making any objection to the correctness of said
assessment or the diagram attached thereto or any other act,
determination or proceedings of said Superintendent of Streets
or said Engineer of Work shall, prior to the day hereinabove
fixed for said hearing, appeal to said City Council by briefly
stating in writing the ground of appeal as provided in said
Improvement Act of 1911.
