HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 11,080RESOLUTION NO. 11,08.0 RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY OF UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "KEEGAN, ET AL, ANNEXATION" AND GIVING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS THERETO BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City as follows: 1. That a petition has been filed with this City Council requesting annexation to the City of National City of all that uninhabited territory situated in the County of San Diego, State of Caliornia, which is hereby designated KEEGAN, ET AL, ANNEXATION, and is more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein as though set forth in full. 2. That on July 24, 1973 , at the hour of 8:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center in the City of National City, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where any person owning real property within the uninhabited territory above described and proposed to be annexed to the City of National City, and having any objections to the proposed annexation, may appear before the Council of the City of National City and show cause why such uninhabited territory should not be so annexed to the City of National City. The protest must be in writing, may be filed at any time before the hour set for hearing objections to the proposed annexation, and shall state the name or names of the owner or owners of property affected and the description and area of such property, in general terms. 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to take the steps set forth in Resolution No. 8088 of this City with reference to this proposed annexation. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of June, 1973. ATTEST: EXHIBIT "A" LEGAL DESCRIPTION Proposed Keegan Annexation No. 2-73 That portion of the East Half of the East Half of 10 Acre Lot 10, Quarter Section 152, together with that portion of 20 Acre Lot 4, Quarter Section 134, Rancho de la Nacion, in the County of San Diego, State of California, according to the Map thereof number 166, filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, May 11, 1869, described as follows: Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of said East Half of the East Half of 10 Acre Lot 10; 1. Thence North71° 00' East along the Easterly prolongation of the Northerly line of said 10 Acre Lot 10 a distance of 40 feet to a point on the Northerly prolongation of the Easterly line of Highland Avenue; 2. •Thence North 19°'00' West along said Northerly prolongation of • the Easterly line of said Highland Avenue 40 feet; 3. Thence South 71° 00' West parallel with the Northerly line of said 10 Acre Lot 10, 370 feet; 4. Thence South 19° 00' East, 285 feet; 5. Thence North 71° 00' East, 165 feet; 6. Thence North 19° 00' West, 60 feet; 7. Thence North 71° 00' East, 205 feet more or less to the point of intersection with the Easterly line of said Highland Avenue; 8. Thence along said Easterly line of Highland Avenue North 19° 00' West, 185 feet more or less to a point on the Easterly prolongation of the Northerly line of said 10 Acre Lot 10; 9. Thence South 71° 00' West, 40 feet to the point of beginning.
