DEDICATION OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC
STREET PURPOSES
(Division Street)
WHEREAS, the City of National City is the owner
of all that certain property situated in the City of National
City, County of San Diego, State of California, more particu-
larly hereinafter described, and
WHEREAS, the City of National City desires that
said property be dedicated for public street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of National City, that the following described
property be and is hereby dedicated for public street purposes:
The Southerly 40.00 feet, measured at right
angles to the Southerly line, of the follow-
ing described parcel of land: That portion
of Lot 70 of a portion of the Ex -Mission
Lands of San Diego (commonly known as Horton's
Purchase), according to the Map thereof No.
283, filed in the office of the County Recorder
of San Diego County, March 9, 1878, described
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Southerly line of
said Lot 70 distant thereon South 71°28'00"
West, 648.95 feet from the Southeast corner
of said Lot 70; thence North 00°01'00" West
Parallel with the East line of said Lot 70
and along the Westerly line of Sunny Knoll,
according to Map thereof No. 2431, on file
in the office of the County Recorder of said
San Diego County, a distance of 161.03 feet;
thence South 80°29'34". West, 50.70 feet to
a point on a line that is parallel with and
distant 50.00 feet measured at right angles
to the Westerly line of said Sunny Knoll;
thence Southerly along said parallel line
to the Southerly line of said Lot 70; thence
North 71°28'00" east along said Southerly
line, 52.74 feet to the Point of Beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described
parcel of land shall henceforth be known as "Division Street."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this
resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder
of San Diego County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of January, 1973.
