HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 10,827RESOLUTION NO. 10,827 RESOLUTION GRANTING COMMERCIAL PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 1077 (Shell Oil Co.) No. 54 The City Council of the City of National City, California, does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows: 1. At a regular meeting of the City Planning Commission on September 11, 1972,. said Commission unanimously adopted a recommendation that the owner of the real property more fully described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, be granted a Commercial Planned Development Permit to remodel existing Shell Service Station (all facilities) to self-service unit at the Northeast corner of 8th Street and Palm Avenue upon the conditions hereinafter stated: 2. That the City Council has received the recommen- dation of the Planning Commission, and after full and complete consideration of said recommendation hereby grants a Commercial Planned Development Permit upon the following terms and condi- tions: a. The applicant (property owner or authorized agent) shall first file with the Planning Department an acknowledgement in writing stating that he is cognizant of all conditions as herein set forth. (Acknowledgment form available in the Planning Department) b. All development shall be in accordance with the plot plan on file in the Planning Department. (Shell Oil Company Drawing No. Z-4653) except for signs. c. Signs shall be limited in number to two (2), the combined total area of which shall not exceed 100 square feet. d. The kiosk metal building and island cover structure shall be of metal panels, with masonry veneer exterior surface and roofing of Kaiser aluminum rustic shingles, in accordance with plans on file in the Planning Department. e. All areas of landscape shall be permanently maintained in a growing and healthycondition and provided with a permanent underground irrigation system. f. Compliance with all applicable State laws, codes and city ordinances. 3. In the .event that the City Council should at any time find and determine that the above conditions as set forth have not been satisfied, it may declare this Permit void and of no further effect.
