DEDICATION OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC
STREET. PURPOSES.
("M" Avenue)
WHEREAS, the City of National City is the owner
of all that certain property situated in the City of National
City, County of San Diego, ,State of California, more particu-
larly hereinafter described, and
WHEREAS, the City of National City desires that
said property be dedicated for public street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of National City, that the following described
property be and is hereby dedicated for public street purposes:
That portion of the Easterly Half of the Northwest
Quarter of 40 Acre Lot 1, Quarter Section 134 of Rancho de la
Nacion, according to Map thereof No. 166 by Morrill, filed
in the office of the County Recorder, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Westerly line of
said 40 Acre Lot 1 which is 205.00 feet Southerly
from the Northwesterly corner of said Lot, said
point of beginning being the Southwesterly corner
of land described in deed to W. R. Polk, et us,
dated November 13, 1923, and recorded in Book 961,
page 348 of Deeds; thence Easterly along the South-
erly line of said Polk's land, 165.00 feet to the
Southeasterly corner thereof; thence Northerly along
the Easterly line of said land, 40.00 feet to the
Southwesterly corner of land described in deed to
Charles C. Scott dated March 20, 1888 and recorded
in Book 121, page 284 of Deeds; thence Easterly
along the Southerly line of Scott's land, 150 feet;
thence continuing Easterly along the Southerly line
of Scott's land 15 feet to the Southeasterly corner
thereof, being a point on the Easterly line of the
Westerly Half of said Northwest Quarter; thence
Southeasterly along the Easterly line of the West-
erly Half of said Northwest Quarter a distance of
53 feet; thence Easterly along a line parallel to
the Northerly line of that land described to Charles
C. Scott a distance of 50.08 feet to the True Point
of Beginning: said True Point of Beginning being
on the Arc of a 35 foot radius curve the center of
which bears 35 feet Southwesterly on a deflection
angle through the True Point of Beginning of 1°49'15"
to the South of said parallel line of that land
described to Charles C. Scott; thence Southerly
along the Arc of said 35 foot radius curve; concave
Westerly a distance of 27.24 feet through a central
angle of 44°35'52". to the intersection of a 40' foot
radius reverse curve to the left; thence along the
Arc of said 40 foot radius curve;. concave Easterly
a distance of 29.89 feet through a central angle of
42°46'37" to the intersection with a line parallel
with a 15 feet Easterly of the Easterly line of
the Westerly Half of said Northwest Quarter; thence
Northerly along said Easterly line of the Westerly
Half of said Northwest Quarter a distance of 52 feet;
thence Easterly along a line parallel to and 53 feet
Southerly of the Northerly line of that land described
to Charles C. Scott a distance of 20.08 feet to the
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED. that the above described
parcels of land shall henceforth be known as "M" Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is here-
by authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this
resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder
of San Diego County.
