HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 10,848RESOLUTION NO. 10,848 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ORDER TO VACATE AND CLOSE THE WESTERLY TEN FEET. OF "E" AVENUE BETWEEN :FIFTEENTH AND SIXTEENTH STREETS. WHEREAS, on October 5, 1972, a hearing was had pursuant to Resolution No. 10,800 to determine whether the following street within the City of National City should be vacated to wit: PARCEL 1: The Westerly 10 feet of "E" Avenue adjacent to Lots 11 through 20 inclusive in Block 1 of D. E. Lozier's Subdivision of 10-Acre Lot 9, Quarter Section 154 of Rancho de la Nacion according to the Map thereof No. 1105 filed in the office of the Recorder of said San Diego County on December 21, 1907, lying between the Northerly line of said Lot 20 and the Southerly line of said Lot 11; EXCEPTING THEREFROM all that portion of said "E". Avenue lying Southeasterly of the arc of a 10 foot radius curve concave North- westerly which is tangent on the East to the Easterly line of said Westerly 10 feet and also tangent on the South to said Southerly line of Lot 11. PARCEL 2: The Southerly 10 feet of 15th St. adjacent to the Northerly lines of said Lot 20 and the Westerly 10 feet of said "E" Avenue as described in Parcel 1 herein; EXCEPTING THEREFROM all that portion of said 15th St. lying Northeasterly of the arc of a 10 foot radius curve concave Southwesterly which is tangent on the North to the Northerly line of said Southerly 10 feet and also tangent on the East to the Easterly line of the West- erly 10 feet of said "E" Avenue. WHEREAS, the City Council at said hearing, found, from all evidence submitted, that said street is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED as follows: 1. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are respect- fully authorized and directed to execute and attest an Order of. Vacation of the above -described street. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of subject order to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, pursuant to Section 8324, California Streets and Highways Code. ATTEST: 4 PASSED AND ADOPTED this loth day of October, 1972. OF VACATION The City of National City, by authority of Resolution No. 10,848 duly adopted on October 10, 1972, by the City Council of the City of National City, hereby orders the vacation of the following alley within the City 1iwits of National City: PARCEL 1: The Westerly 10 feet of "E" Avenue adjacent to Lots 11 through 20 inclusive in Block 1 of D.
