RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ORDER TO
VACATE AND CLOSE PORTION OF "M" AVENUE,. SOUTH
OF TWENTY-FOURTH, NORTH OF TWENTY-SIXTH STREET.
WHEREAS, on September 5, 1972, a hearing was
had pursuant to Resolution No. 10,741 to determine whether
the following street within the City of National City
should be vacated to wit:
That portion of the Westerly Half of the
Northwest Quarter of 40 Acre Lot 1, Quarter
Section 134 of Rancho. de la Nacion, according
to Map thereof No. 166. by Morrill, filed in
the office of the County Recorder, described
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Westerly line
of said 40 Acre Lot 1 which is 205.00.feet
Southerly from the Northwesterly corner of said
Lot, said point ofbeginning being the South-
westerly corner of land described in deed to
W. R. Polk, et us, dated November 13, 1923.,
and recorded in Book 961, page 348 of Deeds;
thence Easterly along the Southerly line of
said Polk's land, 165.00.feet to the South-
easterly corner thereof; thence Northerly
along the Easterly line of said land, 40.00
feet to the Southwesterly corner of land de-
scribed in deed to Charles C. Scott dated
March 20,..1888 and recorded in Book 121, page
284 of Deeds; thence Easterly along the Southerly
line of Scott's land, 165.00.feet to the South-
easterly corner thereof, being a point on the.
Easterly line of the Westerly half of said
Northwest Quarter; thence Southerly along said
Easterly line 105.00.feet to the True Point
of Beginning; thence Northwesterly along the
arc of a 40 loot radius curve, concave South-
westerly a distance of 29.89 feet through a
central angle of 42°.46'37 to the point of
tangency of a reverse curve concave to the
Northeasterly; .thence Northwesterly along the.
arc of said 35 foot radiuscurve which is con-
cave Northeasterly, a distance of 7.35 feet
through a central angle of 12°01'37" to a
point on a parallel line 15 feet Westerly
of the Easterly line of the Westerly Half
of said Northwest Quarter;. thence Southeast-
erly parallel with the Easterly line of the
Westerly Half of said Northwest Quarter a
distance of 33.02 feet; thence Easterly on
a line parallel with .the Northerly line of
said 40 Acre Lot 1, a distance of 15 feet
to the True Point of Beginning.
WHEREAS, the City Council at said hearing,, found,
from all evidence submitted, that said street is un-
necessary for present or prospective public street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are respect-
fully authorized and directed to execute and attest an Order
of Vacation of the above -described street.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to cause a certifiedcopy of subject order tobe recorded in
theoffice of the County Recorder of San Diego County, pur-
suant to Section 8324, California Streets and Highways Code.

The City of National City, by authority of
Resolution No. 10, 879 duly adopted an November 14, 1972,
by the City Council of the City of National City, hereby
orders the vacation of the following street within the
City limits of National City:
That portion of the Westerly Ralf of the
Northwest Quarter of 40 Acre Lot 1, Quarter
ecti.on 134 of Rancho de la Macio.n,according
to Map thereof No. 166 by Morrill, filed in
the office of the County Recorder, describes
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Wasterly line
of said 40 Acre Lot 1 which is 205.00 feet
Southerly fro the Northwesterly corner of
said Lot, said point of beginning being the
Southwesterly corner of land described in
deed to t . R. Polk, et as, dated November
13, 1923, and recorded in ]look 961, page 348
of Deeds; thence Easterly along the Southerly
line of said Polk's land, 165.00 feet to the
Southeasterly corner thereof; thence Northerly
along the Easterly line of said land, 40.00
feet to the Southwesterly corner of land de-
scribed in deed to Charles C. Scott dated

line of Scott's lane::, 165.00 feet to the South-
easterly corner thereof, being a point on the

of ,Beginning; thence Northwesterly along the
arc of a 40 foot radius curve, concave South-
westerly a distance of 29.89 feetthrough a
central Fancy le of 4 2° 46' 37" to the point of
tangency of a reverse curve concave to the
Northeasterly; thence Northwesterly along the
a.rc of said 35 foot radius curve which is con-
cave Northeasterly, a distance of 7.35 feet
through a central angle of 12°01'374 to a
point on a parallel line 15 feet Westerly
of the Easterly line of the Westerly calf
of said Northwest Quarter; thence Southeast-
erly parallel with the Easterly line of the
Westerly %elf of said Northwest Quarter a
distance of 33.02 feet; thence Easterly on
a line parallel with the Northerly lire of
said 40 Acre Lot 1, a distance of 15 feet
to the True Point of aeginnine .
