HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 10,904RESOLUTION NO. 10,904 DEDICATION OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES (A Portion of Euclid Avenue) WHEREAS, the City of National City is the owner of all that certain property situated in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, more particu- larly hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the City of National City desires that said property be dedicated for public street purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National C.i.ty, that the following described property be and is hereby dedicated for public street purposes: Portion of Quarter Section 107 of the Rancho De La Nacion, according to the Map thereof Number 166, more particularly described on legal attached hereto, Exhibit "A". BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described parcel of land shall henceforth be known as"A Portion of Euclid Avenue." BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is here- by authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of December, 1972. ATTEST: RES. NO. 10,904 EXHIBIT "A" The Easterly 20 feet of the Westerly 50 feet of that portion of the Southwest Quarter of Quarter Section 107 of the Rancho de la Nacion, in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof by George Morrill, No. 166, filed in the office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County, May 11, 1869, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of Quarter Section 107; thence North 19°00'00" West along the Westerly line o:E sa:Jd Quarter Section 937.00 feet, more or less, to a point which is 1043.00 feet Southerly from the North- westerly corner of the Southwesterly Quarter of the Northwesterly Quarter of said Quarter Section, said point being; the Southwesterly corner of a tract of land conveyed by San Diego Lands, Inc., a corporated to Rae Investment Company, a corporation, by deed dated August 9, 1921 and re- corded in Book 865, Page 2 of Deeds; thence along the Southerly line of the aforesaid tract of land South 79°00'00" Bast, 762.10 feet to the Easterly line of the Westerly Half of the Southwesterly Quarter of said Quarter Section; thence South 19°00'00" East„ along saki Easterly line 556.00 feet, more or less, to the Southeasterly corver of said Westerly Half; thence South 71°00'00" West along the South line: o': said Quarter Section, 660.00 feet, more or less, to the Place of Beginning EXCEPTING therefrom that portion described as follows: Commencing at the Northwesterly corner of 81',d Southwesterly Quarter of said Quarter Section 107; thence South 19°0('00" East along the Westerly line of said Quarter Section, a distance of 333.00 feet to the Southwesterly corner of a tract of land conveyed to the Rae Investment Company by deed dated August 9, 1921 and recorded in Book 865, Page 2 of Deeds; and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence South 79°06'00" East along the Southerly line of said Tract, 200.61 feet to a point; thence Southwesterly in a direct line to a point on the Westerly line of said Quarter Section, which is distant South 19°00'00" East, 98.00 feet from the True Point of Beginning; thence North 19°00'00" West along said Westerly line 98.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
