RESOLUTION ADOPTING WAGE SCALE
(La Siesta Way, Assessment District No. 178)
The City Council of the City of National City does
hereby resolve as follows:
The City Council does hereby determine and establish
that the general prevailing rate of per diem wage for each type
of craft or workman needed to execute or perform the necessary
work and improvement on La Siesta Way,
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 178 is in accordance with the
schedule appended hereto and described as "Schedule of Per
Diem Wage Rate" and said schedule shall be embodied in the
notice inviting sealed bids and all contract documents in
connection with said work and improvements.

WAGE SCALES FOR THE BASIC TRADES
The following wage scales are taken from the Master Labor Agreements nego-
tiated between the San Diego County Construction Negotiating Committee (AGC,
BCA and MCA) and the basic • construction crafts Labor Negotiating Committee.
AREAS COVERED: Unless otherwise indicated, these wage scales are applicable in
the area known as San Diego County and off shore islands, California.

Pile Drivers and Millwrights have special working rules and receive

All Operators and Oilers on equipment with booms of eighty (80) to one hundred
(100) feet, including jib and pile driving rigs with hammer leads of eighty (80)
for ne hundred (100) feet, shall receive fifteen cents (15c) per hour pay in addi-
ti{ 'to the regular rate of pay. Thereafter, they shall receive an 'additional
tv` 'y cents (20c) per hour pay additional to the regular rate of pay for each

hf; led 1200) feet; thereafter, the Operator shall receive one dollar and fifty
ce ($1.50) per hour in addition to his regular rate of pay, which shall include

dred (200) foot rate. The rate of pay established by this paragraph shall become
the base rate for the entire shift.
Operators on Tandem -type equipment, excluding compaction units, shall receive an
additional one dollar ($1.00) per hour in addition to the regular rate and this
shall become the base rate for the entire shift. •
Operators on Tower Crane equipment snail receive an additional forty-five cents
(45c) per hour in addition to the regular rate and this shall become the base rate
for the entire shift (long boom pay does not apply).
Operators on hoists with three (3) drums shall receive fifteen cents (15c) per
hour additional pay to the regular rate of pay. For each additional drum, he
