HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 10,740RESOLUTION NO. 10,740 DEDICATION OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES ("M" Avenue) WHEREAS, the City of National City is the owner of all that certain property situated in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, more particu- larly hereinafter described, and WHEREAS, the City of National City desires that said property be dedicated for public street purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City, that the following described property be and is hereby dedicated for public street purposes: A portion of the Westerly Half of the Northwest Quarter of 40-Acre Lot 1 in Quarter Section 132 of Rancho de la Nacion in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, according to the Map thereof No. 166 by Morrill, filed in the office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County, - as more particularly described in the legal description attached hereto and made a part hereof, - marked "EXHIBIT A", comprising one page. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described parcels of land shall henceforth be known as "M" Avenue. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is here- by authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of July, 1972. ATTEST: EXHIBIT "A" That portion of the Westerly Half of the Northwest Quarter of 40 Acre Lot 1, Quarter Section 134 of Rancho de la Nacion, according to Map thereof No. 166 by Morrill, filed in the office of the County Recorder, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the Westerly line of said 40 Acre Lot 1 which is 205.00 feet Southerly from the North- westerly corner of said Lot, said point of beginning being the Southwesterly corner of land described in deed to W. R. Polk, et us, dated November 13, 1923, and recorded in Book 961, page 348 of Deeds; thence Easterly along the Southerly line of said Polk's land, 165.00 feet to the Southeasterly corner thereof; thence Northerly along the Easterly line of said land, 40.00 feet to the Southwesterly corner of land described in deed to Charles C. Scott dated March 20, 1888 and recorded in Book 121, page 284 of Deeds; thence Easterly along the Southerly line of Scott's land, IGS.00 feet to the Southeasterly corner thereof, being a point on the Easterly line of the Westerly half of said Northwest Quarter; thence Southerly along said Easterly line 105.00 feet; thence West- erly on a line parallel with the Northerly line of said 40 Acre Lot 1, a distance of 15 feet; thence Northwesterly parallel with the Easterly line of the Westerly Half of said Northwest Quarter a distance of 52.5 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence Westerly along a line parallel with the Northerly line of said 40 Acre Lot 1, a distance of 4.87 feet; thence Southeasterly along the arc of a 35 foot radius curve, concave Easterly a distance of 20.37 feet through a central angle of 33°20'26" to a point on a parallel line 15 feet Westerly of the Easterly line of the Westerly Half of said Northwest Quarter; thence North- westerly parallel with the Easterly line of the Westerly Half of said Northwest Quarter a distance of 19.48 feet to the True Point of Beginning,.
