Murrer, 324 West 1-0 h Str- et) BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that the Mayor be authorized to execute that certain option to purchase real property between the City of National City and Alice G. Murrer, a copy of which is attached. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Finance Officer is hereby authorized and directed to issue a war- rant in the amount of $12,000 plus escrow fees as required, to cover the cost of this transaction. ATTEST: NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 10,475 (Alley between "Q" Avenue, "R" Avenue and 5th Street, 7th STreet, Assessment District No. 176) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 12, 1971 , the City Council of the City of National City, passed and adopted Resolution of Intention No. 10,475 under the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911 for the purpose of ordering the following work to be done and improvements to be made in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, to wit: 1 ALLEY BETWEEN "0" AVENUE, "R" AVENUE AND 5TH STREET, That 7TH STREET, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO.17G beimproved as follows: earthwork, curb, paving to any of the above and which may be performed, excepting therefrom of all said work that has already and in accordance with the plans, after described. and that any other work auxiliary be required to carry out the same, all of the herein -described work been done to the lines and grades specifications and drawings here - The estimated cost of the construction of said improvements is the sum of $13,555,53 , including incidental_ expenses. The City of National City has budgeted the sum of $ 800.00 as a contribution toward the cost of said work. The remaining costs thereof will be assessed upon the property benefited. According to the last equalized roll for taxes you are the owner of property within the boundaries of the district which will be assessed to pay the costs and expenses of this improvement. Said Resolution of In- tention No. 10,475 is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of National City and is referred to for all particulars. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON: November 9, 1971 , at the hour of 8:00 p.m. of said day, at the meeting place of the City Council of the City of National City, 1243 National Avenue, National City, California has been fixed as the time and place of hearing any and all objections to the proposed work and improvement, the grades to which said work is proposed to be done, or the boundaries of the district. Any persons owning prop- .erty within the boundaries of the district may present written pro- test, not later than the hour hereinabove set for hearing, against the doing of said work, the grades to which said work is to be done or the boundaries of the district proposed to be assessed. Any pro- test filed must be in writing and must contain a description of the property in which the signer thereof is interested, sufficient to identify the same, and must be delivered to the City Clerk of the City of National City. This work is to be done by special assessment proceedings under the Improvement Act of 1911. Property owners will be able to pay their assessments in cash at the termination of work and confirmation of the assessment. If any property owner does not desire to pay for the wort: in cash, a bond will be issued against the property for the amount of any assessment of $50,00 or more, under the Improvement Act of 1911, which bond will bear interest at the rate of six percent (6%) per annum and will be payable in equal installments over a period of nine (9) years.
