RESOLUTION ABANDONING PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
(Alley Block 146, Assessment District No. 177)
WHEREAS, a hearing was held in the City Council
Chambers by the City Council on the Resolution of Intention
No. 10,366, and at said hearing written protests were filed
by owners of more than one half of the area of the property
to be assessed for the proposed improvement, and
WHEREAS, the City Council recommended abandonment
of the propsoed project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
That the City Council hereby advises that written
protests have been filed by the owners of more than one half
of the area of the property to be assessed for the proposed
improvement, and that the City Council hereby abandons said
proposed proceedings forthwith and hereby orders that no
further proceedings shall be commenced or carried on for the
same improvement within one year fromthe filing of the writ-
ten protest. (Streets and Highways Code Section 2930).
PASSED AND ADOPTED this' loth day of July, 1971.
