RE.SOLUT.ION GIVING NOTICE OF INTENTION TO. VACATE
AND CLOSE A PORTION OF "J" AVENUE - 22ND TO 24TH
The City Council of the City of National City,
California, hereby declares its intentions to vacate and
close, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9
of the Streets and Highways Code of California, a portion
of "J" Avenue between 22nd and 24th Streets, situated in
the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of
California more particularly described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and incorporated herein as though set forth
in full.
Time for hearing any and all persons interested
in or objecting to the proposed vacation is hereby set for
8:00 p.m., September 14, 1971, in the City Council Chambers
in the Civic Center in the City of National City, California.
The City Engineer of the City of National City,
California, is hereby directed to post notice of the passage
of this Resolution and the time and place of hearing in ac-
cordance with law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of August, 1971.

EXHIBIT "A"
Vacating and closing to public use those portions of "J" Avenue
described as follows:
The Westerly ten feet of "J" Avenue from the Southerly line of
Twenty -Second Street to the Northerly line of Twenty-fourth Street:
Except that portion of "J" Avenue lying Northeasterly of a ten
foot radius curve, the center of which bears ten feet Southeasterly of
the Northeasterly corner of Lot 20, Block 11 of Wilbur Addition, Map
251 filed in the office of the Corinty Recorder on September 29, 1914,
said center point being on the Easterly line of said Lot 20;
Except that portion of "J" Avenue lying Southeasterly of a ten
foot radius curve, the center of which bears ten feet Northwesterly of
the Southeasterly corner of Lot 11, Block 12 of said Wilbur Addition,
said center point being on the Easterly line of said Lot 11;
Except, reserving a perpetual easement to the City of National City,
over, under and across that portion of "J" Avenue described above, lying
Easterly of Lot 20, Block 12 of said Wilbur Addition;
Except, reserving a perpetual easement to the San Diego Gas and
Electric Company, a California Corporation, over and across that portion
of "J" Avenue described above the said easement and right of way in the
aforesaid lands shall be 12,00 feet in width, being 6.00 feet on each
side of the following described center line:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Lot 11 in Block 11; thence
South 19° 60' 00" East along the Easterly line of said Lot 11 and the
Southerly prolongation, a distance of 105.00 feet; thence leaving said
Southerly prolongation „North 71° 00' 00" East, 20.00 feet to the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING of the center line herein described, thence fromssaid
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, Mirth 22° 10' 29" West, 343.50 feet, all within
that portion of "J" Avenue as described above.
Also vacating and closing the Easterly ten feet of "J" Avenue from
the Southerly line of Twenty-second Street to the Northerly line of Twenty-
third Street;
Except that portion of "J" Avenue lying Northwesterly of a ten foot
radius curve, the center of which bears ten feet Southeasterly of the
Northwesterly corner of Lot 1, Block 6 of said Wilbur Addition, said
center point being on the Westerly line of said Lot 1;
Except that portion of "J" Avenue lying Southwesterly of a ten foot
radius curve, the center of which bears ten feet Northwesterly of the
Southwesterly corner of Lot 10, Block 6 of said Wilbur Addition, said
center point being on the Westerly line of said Lot 10:
Also vacating and closing the Easterly ten feet of "J" Avenue from
the Southerly line of Twenty-third Street to the Northerly line of Twenty-
fourth Street.
Except that portion of "J" Avenue lying Northwesterly of a ten foot
radius curve, the center of which bears ten feet Southeasterly of the
Northwesterly corner of Lot 1, Block 5 of said Wilbur Addition, said
center point being on the Westerly line of said Lot 1;
Except that portion of "J" Avenue lying Southwesterly of a ten
foot radius curve, the center of which bears ten feet Northwesterly of
the Southweterly corner of Lot 10, Block 5 of said Wilbur Addition,
said center point being on the Westerly line of said Lot 10.
