HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 10,454RESOLUTION NO. 10,454 RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (T.N.T. Ceramics) The City Council of the City of National City does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows: 1. At a regular meeting of the City Planning Com- mission on August 23, 1971, said Commission unanimously adopted a recommendation that the owners of the real property located at 2100 National Avenue, be granted a Conditional Use Permit upon the conditions hereinafter stated. 2. That the City Council has received the recom- mendation of the Planning Commission, and after full and complete consideration of said recommendation hereby grants a Conditional Use Permit for the conversion of a building from a cafe to a ceramic store subject to the following terms and conditions: a. The applicants shall file with the Planning Department an acknowledgement in writing, stating that they are cognizant of all conditions as hereinbelow set forth and agree to accomplish same within a period of time not to exceed sixty (60) days. b. To improve the esthetic appearance, the ex- terior surface of the building shall be painted and maintained. c. Projecting sign(s) shall be prohibited. d. Landscaping shall be installed immediately abutting said building (front of and along the exterior side). e. The parkway on National Avenue, excluding walkway, shall be landscaped. Type, size, and specie of plantings shall be approved by the Director of Parks and Rec- reation prior to installation. f. All landscape areas shall be provided with permanent watering system, and all such areas shall be perm- anently maintained in a growing and healthy condition. g. Compliance with all laws, codes, and ordin- ances of the City of National City. h. Upon finding that any of these conditions are not being substantially complied with, the City Council may, in the manner described in the Zoning Code, order the modification of said conditions or the revocation of this permit. 1971.
