RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING STANDARDS FOR PAINTING HOUSE
NUMBERS ON CURBS IN THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
BE IT RESOLVED that any house numbers painted on
curbs in the City of National City shall comply with the
following criteria:
1. Numbers shall be black on white background.
2. Numbers will be block numbers and shall be
4 inches in height with a stroke of 5/8 width.
3. Numbers shall be painted on the vertical
section of the curb in front of the residence.
4. Numbers shall be the same as numbers on the
residence.
5. Painting shall be in accordance with standard
specifications, Division of Highways,, State of California,
January, 1971, Section 59-6, and the paint shall comply with
Section 59-6.03.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that no person, firm, or
association shall engage in the business of painting house
numbers on curbs without first obtaining a business license
from the City of National City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd.d,ay of February, 1971.
