HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 10,300RE.SOLUT.ION NO.. 10,300 RESOLUTION ORDERING THE. VACATION OF A PORTION OF SIXTEENTH STREET BETWEEN CLEVELAND AVENUE AND McKINLEY AVENUE. (INDUSTRIAL SALES CO.) WHEREAS, on February 2, 1971, a report was made to the City Council concerning the closing ofthe hereinafter described public streets and ways within the City of National City, County of San Diego, State. of California. WHEREAS, following said report the City Council of National City determined that it was in the public interest toclose certain streets and ways or portions thereof within the City of National City, and WHEREAS, the City Council at said meeting found, from all the evidence submitted, that said streets and public ways are unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute and attest an Order of Vacation of the public streets and ways more particularly described as follows: All that portion of Sixteenth Street adjacent to Blocks 240 and 241 lying between the Westerly line of McKinley Avenue (formerly Seventh Avenue) and the Northerly prolongation of the Easterly line of the alley in said Block 240, all according to the Map of National City No. 348 filed in the office of the Recorder of the County of San Diego, State of Calif- ornia, October 2, 1882. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of subject order to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, pur- suant to Section 8324, California Streets and Highways Code. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of March, 1971 ATTEST: ORDnR OF VACATTON The City of National City, by authority of Resolu- tion No. 10,300 duly adopted on March 31, 1971 by the City Council of the City of National City, hereby orders the vaca- tion of the public streets and ways within the City limits of National City: All that portion of Sixteenth Street adjacent to Blocks 240 and 241 lyino between the Westerly line of McKinley Avenue (formerly Seventh Avenue) and the Northerly prolongation of the Easterly line of the alley in said Block 240, all accord- ing to the Map of National City No. 34S filein the office of the Recorderoof the County of San Diego, State of California, October 2, 1882.
