RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF INTENTION TO VACATE AND
CLOSE A PORTION OF 35TH STREET IN SOUTHLAND
INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. 2
The City Council of the City of National City,
California, hereby declares its intention to vacate and close,
pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the
Streets and Highways Code of California, a portion of 35th Street
in Southland Industrial Park Unit No. 2 situated in the City
of National City, County of San Diego, State of California
more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated herein as though set forth in full.
Time for hearing any and all persons interested
in or objecting to the proposed vacation is hereby set for
8:00 P.M., February 24, 1970, in the City Council Chambers
in the Civic Center in the City of National City, California.
The City Engineer of the City of National City,
California, is hereby directed to post notice of the passage
of this Resolution and the time and place of hearing in ac-
cordance with law.

Street Vacation Southland Industrial Park Unit No. 2
Parcel 1
All that portion of 35th Street in Southland Industrial Park Unit No. 2,
in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California,
according to Map thereof No. 6363 filed in the Office of the County Re-
corder of San Diego County May 15, 1969, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 20 of said Southland Industrial
Park Unit No. 2; thence along the Northerly line of said Lot South 71°
48' 15" West 198.29 feet to a point on the Easterly boundary of land des-
cribed in deed to the State of California recorded August 8, 1969, as
File/Page 144330, Series 10, Book 1969 Official Records. A radial bear-
ing to said point bears North 74° 12' 07" East; thence North along said
Easterly boundary and along the arc of a 2914.93 foot radius curve concave
Westerly a distance of 40.02 feet through a central angle of 0° 47' 12"
to an intersection with the centerline of said 35th Street; thence along
the centerline of said 35th Street North 71° 48' 15" East 276.29 feet
to an intersection with a non -tangent 60 foot radius curve the center of
which bears North 71°48'15" East; thence Southeasterly along the arc of
said curve 43.78 feet through a central angle of 41°48'40" to the point
of beginning.
RESERVING over, under and across the above described Parcel an EASEMENT
FOR DRAINAGE described as follows:
A 10.00 foot wide strip of land lying 5.00 feet each side of the following
described centerline;
All that portion of 35th Street in Southland Industrial Park Unit No. 2,
in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California,
according to Map thereof No. 6363 filed in the Office of the County Re-
corder of San Diego County May 15, 1969$ described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of said 35th Street with
the centerline of Harding Avenue, all as shown on said map; thence North
71°48'15" East 276.29 feet along the centerline of said 35th Street to
the beginning of a non -tangent 60.00 foot radius curve concave Easterly,
the center of which bears North 71°48'15" East; thence Southerly along
the arc of said curve 5.01 feet through a central angle of 4°46'50" to
the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence South 71°48'15" West 103.58 feet pa-
rallel to the centerline of said 35th Street, to the beginning of a tan-
gent 45.00 foot radius curve concave Southeasterly; thence 60.60 feet
along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 77°09'35" to a
point on the Northerly line of lot 20 of said Southland Industrial Park
Unit No. 2, said point bears South 71°48'15" West 162.52 feet from the
Northeast corner of said Lot 20. Side lines of said strip of land shall
be shortened or lengthened to terminate at the Westerly end on the North-
erly line of said Lot 20 and at the Easterly end on the aforementioned
60.00 foot radius curve.

in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California,
according to Map thereof No. 6363 filed in the Office of the County Re-
corder of San Diego County May 15, 1969, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 8 of said Southland Industrial
Park Unit No. 2; thence along the Southerly line of said Lot 8 North
71°48'15" East 1.57 feet to an intersection with a non -tangent 60 foot
radius curve concave Easterly, the center of which bears South 66°23'
05" East; thence Southeasterly along the arc of said curve 43.78 feet
through a central angle of 41°48'40" to an intersection with the center-
line of said 35th Street; thence along said centerline South 71°48'15"
West 181.61 feet to a point on the Easterly boundary of land described
in deed to the State of California recorded August 8, 1969, as File/Page
144330, Series 10, Book 1969 O.R., a radial bearing to said point bears
North 73°24'55" East, thence Northerly along said Easterly boundary and
along the arc of a 2914.93 foot radius curve concave Westerly 40.01 feet

said Southland Industrial Park Unit No. 2; thence along said Southerly
line North 71°48'15" East 194.47 feet to the point of beginning.

MENT FOR SEWER PURPOSES described as follows:
A 10.00 foot wide strip of land lying 5.00 feet each side of the follo-
wing described centerline:

according to Map thereof No, 6363 filed in the Office of the County Re-
corder of San Diego County May 15, 1969, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of said 35th Street with
the centerline of Harding Avenue, all as shown on said Map; thence North
71°48'15" East 276.29 feet along the centerline of said 35th Street to
the beginning of a non -tangent 60.00 foot radius curve concave Easterly,
center of which bears North 71°48'15" East; thence Northerly along the
arc of said curve 5.01 feet through a central angle of 4°46'S0" to the
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence South 71°48'15" West 146.67 feet paral-
lel with said centerline of 35th Street; thence North 51°38'09" West
41.95 feet to a point on the Southerly line of Lot 9 of said Southland
Industrial Park Unit No. 2, said point bears South 71°48'15" West 183.29
feet from the Southeast corner of said Lot 9. Side lines of said 10.00
foot strip of land shall be shortened or lengthened to terminate at the
Westerly end on the Southerly line of said Lot 9 and on the Easterly end
on the aforementioned 60.00 foot radius curve.
