HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 9966RESOLUTION NO. 9966 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF EASEMENT TO CALIFORNIA-AMERICAN WATER COMPANY (El Toyon Park) BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City, California as follows: That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute and attest that certain Easement whereby the City of National City grants to CALIFORNIA-AMERICAN WATER COMPANY , the property more fully described in said Easement, a copy of which is attached hereto and is hereby incorporated by reference. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of November, 1969. ATTEST: N.C. Res. No. 9966 11-SD-805-2.0 R/W 16768-2 (Rev'd 9/18/69) EASEMENT THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, a municipal corporation, for and in consideration of a valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant to CALIFORNIA-AMERICAN WATER COMPANY, a California corporation, its successors and assigns, an easement for the purposes of laying, relaying, repairing, maintaining, and/or renew- ing a water main or mains and appurtenances thereto, over, along, across, through and under the following described parcel of land: That portion of 80 Acre Lot 1 in Quarter Section 130 of Rancho de la Nacion, according to the Map thereof No. 166, filed with the Recorder of San Diego County, described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of land described in deed to the City of National City, recorded September 15, 1950 _ in Book 3780, page 217 of Official Records; thence along the Southeasterly boundary thereof, N.72°07'50"E., 45.06 feet; thence leaving said boundary, N.42°02144"W., 43.79 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence (1) N.48°46'48"W., 263.64 feet to a point on the Southwesterly boundary of said National City land; thence (2) along said boundary N.40°00'14"W., 125.90 feet; thence (3) leaving said boundary S.46°35'20"E.,-110.09 feet; thence (4) S.48°46'48"E., 286.98 feet to a point on the Northerly boundary. of a dedicated City Street; thence (5) along said Nor- therly boundary, S.71°58'51"W., 17.46 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. Containing 4,925 square feet, more or less. The bearings and distances used in the above description is on the California Coordinate System, Zone 6. Multiply all distances used in the above description by 0.9999942 to obtain ground level distances. Together with the right of ingress to and egress from said easement for the purposes hereinabove set forth.
