RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE SOUTH BAY FALCONS
WHEREAS, the Pop Warner Junior League football
program is a valuable part of National City's recreation pro-
gram, and
WHEREAS, the Pop Warner Junior League Football
teaches the participants valuable lessons of sportsmanship,
cooperation, discipline and fair play, and
WHEREAS, the South Bay Falcons have represented
National City in the Pop Warner Junior League Football, Junior
Bantam Division with great distinction, and
WHEREAS, the South Bay Falcons, through hard work
and perseverence have won all the games played by them in this
season, and
WHEREAS, the South Bay Falcons are now the undefeated
champions of the Junior Bantam Division of the San Diego County
of the Pop Warner Junior League Football, and
WHEREAS, winning the Division Championship represents
the ultimate team achievement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of National City commends the staffgmembers and
cheer leaders of the South Bay Falcons Junior Bantam Division
Champions of San Diego County in the Pop Warner Junior League
playoffs.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of November, 1969.
