RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF GRANT DEED TO
STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR FREEWAY PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
National City, California as follows:
That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
directed to execute and attest that certain GRANT DEED whereby
the City of National City grants to the STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
the property more fully described in said Grant Deed, a copy
of which is attached hereto and is hereby incorporated by
reference.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of December, 1969.

la Nacion, according to Map thereof No. 166, by Morrill, filed May 11,
1869 in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, described
as follows:
Commencing at the most Southwesterly corner of that land described
in deed to the State of California recorded February 13, 1962 as Instru-
ment No. 24766, Official Records of said County; thence along the
Westerly line of said State land, N.17°46'41"W., 52.36 feet to the
TRUE POINT OF BFGINNING; thence N.40°42'58"W., 95.02 feet to the North-
erly line of the Southerly 140 feet of said Lot 1; thence along said
Northerly line, N.72°00'25"E., 37.03 feet to said Westerly line; thence
along said Westerly line, S.17°46'41"E., 87.64 feet to the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING. -

Beginning at the most Southeasterly corner of that land described
in deed to:the State of California, recorded February 13, 1962 as
Instrument No. 24766, Official: Records of said County; thence along the
Northeasterly line of said State land,-N.40°00'14"W., 287.45,feet,
thence leaving said Northeasterly line, S.48°46'48''E., 263.64 feet; thence
5.42°02'44"E., 43.79 feet to the Southerly line of said Lot 1; thence
along said Southerly line S.71°58'51"W., 45.06 feet to the point of
beginning.
Containing 4,913 square feet, more or less, in addition to that
portion contained within Fourth Street.

Northeasterly line of said State land, N.40°OO 14"W., 563.23,feet to
the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence leaving said Northeasterly line,
N.43°38'58"E., 55.82 feet; thence N.46°21'02 "W., 116.55 feet to the
Southerly line of that land described in deed to California Water and
Telephone Company, recorded September 27, 1950 in Book 3795, page 292,
said Official Records; thence along said Southerly line, S.72 13'21"W.,
46.02 feet to said Northeasterly line; thence S.40°O0'14 "E., 139.41-feet
to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
Containing 6,222 square feet, more or less.
It is understood that said Easement is temporary and shall terminate
either upon completion of construction of that portion of. Interstate-.
Highway 805 lying adjacent to the above described parcel or December
31, 1974, whichever date occurs first. It is also understood
that upon said termination date the State shall have no further
obligation or liability in connection with said parcel.
The bearings and distances used in the above descriptions are on
the California Coordinate System, Zone 6. Multiply all distances used
in the above descriptions by 0.9999942 to obtain ground level distances.
