HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 10,009RESOLUTION NO. 1O,009 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ORDER TO VACATE AND CLOSE 17TH STREET BETWEEN McKINLEY AVENUE AND CLEVELAND AVENUE WHEREAS, on October 14, 1969, a hearing was had pursuant to Resolution No. 9930 to determine whether the fol- lowing street within the City of National City should be vacated to wit: All of that real property located in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California described as follows: All of 17th Street ,lying between the Easterly line of Cleveland Avenue and the Westerly line of the alleys in Blocks 239 and 240 and all of 17th Street lying be- tween the Easterly line of said alleys in Blocks 239 and 240 and the Westerly line of McKinley Avenue, all in National City according to Map No. 348 on file in the office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County. WHEREAS, the City Council at said hearing, found, from all evidence submitted, that said street is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED as follows: 1. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are respect- ively authorized and directed to execute and attest an Order of Vacation of the above -described street. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of subject order to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, pur- suant to Section 8324, California Streets and Highways Code. PASSED AND ADOPTED this dth day of January, 1970.
