HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 10,010RESOLUTION NO. 10,010 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED "KOENIG ANNEXATION NO. 2" TO THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY (CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 35310.1) WHEREAS, on the 18th day of November, 1969, the Council of the City of National City did pass and adopt Resolution No. 9976 giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of National City, said territory being therein designated as "KOENIG ANNEXA- TION NO. a," and said Resolution did describe the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed, and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 9976 did contain a notice of the day, hour and place when and where the Coun- cil of the City of National City would hear protests, the time of said hearing being not more than 30 days from the time of passage of said Resolution, and WHEREAS, on the 6th day of January, 1970, at the hour of 8:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center of the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, said time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution No. 9976 for hear- ing protests to the said annexation, the said City Council did bear and pass on ail protests made to the proposed annexation and did determine that all protests, if any, be overruled, and WHEREAS, the petition filed with the City Council was signed by the owners of all of the land in the territory proposed to be annexed and said Resolution No. 9976 declared the fact and all other requirements of Government Code Sec- tion 35310.1 have been fully satisfied; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of National City, and is uninhabited territory in the County of San Diego; NOW, T:IERErURE, the City Council of the City of National City, does resolve as follows: SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of National City does hereby approve the annexation of the territory more particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein as though set forth in full to the City of National City, and does hereby further resolve that the said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of National City. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of January, 1970. ATTEST: CITY CLER By eputy City Cle r' KOENIG ANNEXATION NO. 2 All those portions of Quarter Sections 109 and 110 of the Rancho de la Nacion in the County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof No. 166 filed in the Recorder's office of said County, lying within the following described boundary line: Beginning at a of National City as March 7, 1961, point of intersection of the boundary of the City established by -their 0rdinance No. 990 adopted on with the Westerly line of the East Half of said Quarter Section 109 being also a point on said Westerly line distant thereon 214.70 feet Southerly from its intersection with the center line of Road Survey No. 558 (Sweetwater Road) on file in the County Engineer's office of said County; 1. thence along said City boundary the following lettered courses and distances; • a.
