A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL
CITY, ADJUSTING THE BOUNDARY OF THE SURVEY AREA OF THE
E. J. CHRISTMAN BUSINESS AND INDUSTRIAL PARK
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore adopted
Ordinance No. 1164 activating the Redevelopment Agency of the
City of National City, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 9429 the City Council
designated a survey area as provided in Article 2, Chapter 4,
Park I, Division 24, of the California Health and Safety
Code, and
WHEREAS, said designated survey area was generally
described as being bound on the North by 18th Street: on the
South by 30th Street; on the East by National Avenue; and on
the West by the Kimball School, and
WHEREAS, the boundaries of the survey area were
more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached to and
incorporated in Resolution No. 9429, and
WHEREAS, several studies have been completed or are
underway to study the feasibility of the proposed redevelop-
ment project and preliminary planning of the E. J. Christman
Business and Industrial Park is progressing, and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned studies have indicated
the need to study an additional, small area to determine the
feasibility of including it in the proposed redevelopment
project, and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to amend the study
area to include the additional area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY as follows:
Section 1. The boundaries of the Survey Area as
referred to in Article 2, Chapter 4 of the Community Redevelop-
ment Law as hereby modified to read as set forth in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Survey Area designated herein re-
quires study to determine if a redevelopment project or
projects within said area are feasible.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 1st day of April, 1969.

Beginning at the intersection of the Northerly line
of 18th Street with the Easterly line of National Avenue, ,thence
Westerly along the said Northerly line to an intersection with
the Westerly line of Hoover Avenue, thence Southerly along said
Westerly line to the Northerly line of 19th Street, thence West-
erly along said Northerly line to an intersection with the North-
erly prolongation of the center line of the 20' alley in Block
109; thence,, Southerly along said Northerly prolongation and
center line to the Northerly line of 20th Street; thence, West-
erly along said Northerly line to the intersection with the
Northerly prolongation of the Easterly line of Lots 12 and 23
of Block 149; thence, Southerly along said Easterly line and
its Northerly prolongation to the Northerly line of 21st Street;
thence, Westerly along said Northerly line to an intersection
with the Northerly prolongation of the centerline of 20' alley
in Block 150; thence, Southerly along said prolongation and
centerline to the Northerly line of 22nd Street; thence, West-
erly along said Northerly line to Northerly prolongation of
the Easterly line of the San Diego and Arizona Eastern Railroad
Company right-of-way in Block 170; thence, Southerly along said
Easterly line and its Northerly and Southerly prolongation to
the Southerly line of the Northerly 105 feet of Block 168; thence
Easterly along said Southerly line to the Easterly line of the
San Diego and Arizona Eastern Railroad Company right-of-way;
thence Southerly along said Easterly line to the Northerly line
of railroad spur first South of 28th Street; thence, Southerly
and Easterly along said Northerly line and its Easterly pro-
longation to the prolongation of the centerline of Hoover
Avenue; thence, Northerly along said prolongation to the cen-
terline of 28th Street; thence, Easterly along said center-
line and its Easterly prolongation to the prolongation of the
Westerly line of Roosevelt Avenue; thence, Southerly along
said prolongation to the prolongation of the centerline of 29th
Street; thence, Easterly along said prolongation to the East-
erly line of National Avenue; thence, Northerly along said
Easterly line to the Northerly line of 18th Street and the
point of Beginning.
