RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION
TO WINNER OF MUNICIPAL YOUTH RECOGNITION AWARD

WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of National City
has successfully launched a program to recognize and ac-
knowledge the outstanding achievements of the young people
in our community, and
WHEREAS, this beneficial program has received the
wide acclaim and support of various public spirited citizens
and organizations throughout the City because it stresses
accomplishments rather than gives added emphasis to the prob-
lems and grievances of our youth, and
WHEREAS, LORI ANN WATTS and CINDY GIBSON have been
chosen the winners of the MUNICIPAL YOUTH RECOGNITION AWARD
for meritorious achievements worthy of this particular honor
and distinction;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Coun-
cil of the City of National City hereby commends and congrat-
ulates LORI ANN WATTS and CINDY GIBSON as the deserving re-
cipients of this coveted award, hoping others are inspired
to meet the challenge it represents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May, 1969.
