RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK
(27th Street and "A" Avenue
Assessment District No. 168)
WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of April, 1969, the City
Council of the City of National City passed its Resolution
of Intention No. 9804 to order certain work to be done and
improvements to be made on 27TH STREET AND 1°A" AVENUE,
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 168 pursuant to the provisions of
the Improvement Act of 1911, and
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duly
published, and notice of its adoption was duly posted and
mailed, all in the time, form and manner as required by law,
and
WHEREAS, this City Council had duly received and
considered evidence oral and documentary concerning the jur-
isdictional facts in this proceeding and concerning the neces-
sity for the contemplated work and improvement and the benefits
to be derived therefrom, and said City Council has now acquired
jurisdiction to order the proposed improvement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
National City, California, does hereby resolve, determine
and order as follows:
1. That the public interest and convenience re-
quire the said improvement and the City Council hereby orders
that the work and improvement, as set forth and described in
said Resolution of Intention No. 9804 adopted on the 22nd
day of April and in the plans and specifications therein re-
ferred to, be done and made, and that all protests against
said work or improvement, if any, be and hereby are overruled.
2. That the boundaries of the assessment district,
and the grades to which said work and
constructed, shall be those set forth

made for all further particulars.
3. That the time hereby fixed
to which is hereby
for receiving sealed
proposals or bids for the doing of said work and making of
said improvements herein ordered is the 2nd day of July, 1969,
at the hour of 3:00 p.m., and the City Clerk is hereby ordered
to give notice inviting such sealed bids in the time, form
and manner provided by law. All proposals or bids shall be
delivered to the City Clerk and shall be opened, and examined
and declared by said City Clerk at a public meeting in Room
103 in the Civic Center of National City, California, at
the time and date aforesaid; and said City Clerk shall report
the results of the bidding to the City Council at the next
regular meeting after the opening of the bids.
